Has anyone confirmed with Rudy that he has spoken with Trump recently?  Like one would think him saying "I haven't spoken with Trump in weeks" would be a bigger story when Rudy is literally out there SPEAKING FOR TRUMP.

Like why should anyone listen to Rudy about anything?

I can honestly already picture the press conference with Sarah Huckabee Sanders wholeheartedly explaining that Giuliani never actually worked for Trump, and had actually NEVER in fact even met Trump.   HIs whole series of interviews was just another example of the lying liberal media elites.

Trump over the weekend groused that the FBI didn't tell him about Russian investigation.

But they did a few weeks after he was nominated, the FBI gave him a briefing that the Russians might be infiltrating the campaigns (his, and the FBI gave the same briefing to Clinton).

http://www.msnbc.com/rachel-maddow-show/the-fbi-warning-trump-received-ignored-and-apparently-forgot-about

"In the weeks after he became the Republican nominee on July 19, 2016, Donald Trump was warned that foreign adversaries, including Russia, would probably try to spy on and infiltrate his campaign, according to multiple government officials familiar with the matter.

The warning came in the form of a high-level counterintelligence briefing by senior FBI officials, the officials said. A similar briefing was given to Hillary Clinton, they added. They said the briefings, which are commonly provided to presidential nominees, were designed to educate the candidates and their top aides about potential threats from foreign spies.

The candidates were urged to alert the FBI about any suspicious overtures to their campaigns, the officials said."

Thought he'd get away with it.

It's funny (well not...) that even now after the GOP has seen the "top confidential information" about the informant and all the info that led to it, and they are actually acknowledging that there was nothing wrong or illegal about it...(of course they still deny any wrong-doing by Trump but that's for another discussion) you have Fox News ignoring all of that and *still* trying to push "Spygate" and calling everything illegitimate.  It's sad.
