I was watching Netflix. Did we fire Bruce and hire a capabele GM that made this deal? This smart move. Because you are not going to tell me that the clown show has signed this guy to this deal. Thats not possible!!! We have burning Bruce down the hole day for beeing a tool.

It sounds like the deal will likely have a lot of incentives built in.  Also, maybe the 1 year deal has to do with not knowing Cousins's fate with the team beyond this year?

 

All in all it sounds like a deal  where the priority was to get him under some kind of contract quick before he could consider anything else, and if he shows up and balls out, the money will be there to extend him.

Because Allen is great at keeping us flush with cap space only to go medium. This every year we have a reason to keep him because he's about to strike. ?

Pryor, Doctson, Crowder. Tremendous amount of upside in that trio if we get them rolling. 

 

You know, Pryor's delay might've been that he wanted assurances that it would be Cousins throwing him the ball in Washington in 2017.

 

With the Redskins having the #2 passing offense, and Garcon and Jackson gone, this is a big opportunity for him, if the right QB is here.

 

It might also be why he only signed for one year.

Pryor understands that with Jackson and Garcon gone that he will have ample opportunity to elevate his game. We all know kirk can spread it around. Doctson, Pryor, Crowder, Reed, and Davis will make a nice receiving core. Of course we need a tad more but it's a nice start.
