commyderm2
Ever since cousins took the reins, we have no rushing attack. This is not a coincidence.
BRAVEONAWARPATH
Kirk Grossman strikes again hahahahaha I wonder where all the Kirk Cousin fans went? They'll pop up this week and take a few shots at Robert. It's what they do.
brandymac27
On the up side, when RG3 comes back he won't be looking over his shoulder anymore (if he ever was). It is his job or bust at this point. Robert shouldn't even play when he's healthy enough. Just let McCoy play the season out, so we can tank and get the #1pick. Today was really the icing on the cake for me smh.
skinsfan212689
I apologize for saying Cousins is the answer to RG3's inabilities. Respect!

RG3Hunna
could you imagine if we would have done what some in here wanted and traded RGIII and had Kirk be our franchise QB? HAHAHAHAHAHA RGIII would be on his 2nd team with a real franchise LIGHTING the league on fire and we would have Kirk Grossman as our QB throwing interceptions to defenders like gifts on christmas hahaha

Zazzaro703
Remember all those who were CONVINCED Cousins was the answer at QB? Cousins may be a little raw. But this isnt his fault. He is put in impossible situations where as a player, starting what his 8th game, needs to pretty much carry the team, overcome a defense that never makes clutch momentum changing turnovers, special teams that gives us crap field position and players on offense that make silly mistakes and turnovers with a poor offensive line to boot. The exact same thing happens to Griffin. Griffin however can handle the pressurse and make those extra plays that gives us a chance to win. Cousins def makes some mistakes and needs some work, but damn man he should be handing the ball off a lot and making a pass here and there instead of dropping back 30-40 times a game. All this being said, it should be obvious to everyone that Griffin gives us the best chance to win. It should not even be a debate anymore. PigskinRedskin
I just hope the organization and/or RG3 doesn't rush back in an all out emergency plan to save some face. Let him be COMPLETELY healthy before doing anything, it's not like we're going to the playoffs. When he comes in, if he even see's a rush, throw it away or just get down. Get the reps in but don't even risk getting touched.
Darc Requiem
The only conclusion I can arrive at is that a doctor who examined Cousins at a young age overlooked the fact that he may actually suffer from Down's Syndrome. You may need to update that sig of yours and put Cousins in it. He just seems to meltdown in crunch time. I don't get it.
PartyPosse
Forget tanking, just let him sit out and write the year off. The team is so insistent upon rushing players healthy, just give players time to heal up. Screw this year. Just plan for next year.
Momma There Goes That Man
Going through a serious illness in the family, good thing I didn't depend on the Skins to bring some light to my dark week. Wouldve been nice though.....Kirks last INT at least put a smirk on face. Unbelievable..... Sorry to hear that, hope things work out for you and wish your family the best

Today was really the icing on the cake for me smh. Don't worry, this team is bad enough they will get a high pick. RG3 needs the reps. You have to see if he can play in this system or if he blows up like Cousins. You have to find out what you have with him.
London Kev
Well I suppose this just made the "Do you think we make the playoffs this year?" thread, kind of redundant.

Eventually you have to stop making excuses for him. He was a 4th round pick, stop convincing yourself he is anything more than that. Gruden sounds absolutely defeated in his presser. And I agree but the sad fact is unless we run the read option RG could be pot'l just as bad if not worse.
Catatonic
If there's one thing for certain, the leadership will take what's going on right now and find a way to make it worse. Bank on it.
SkinsFTW
Snyder must be stewing. **** that guy. If that ass clown would let this team properly rebuild and have the 2-14 year or 2 or 3 of them that we've earned for 20 years we'd likely have picked RG3 or Luck with OUR OWN DRAFT PICK instead of trading away 1/2 a decade after already trading away a decade worth of talent the last decade just by allowing Cerrato to pretend to have any actual NFL knowledge. fearlessNelms
Okay, it's official, Cousins is not the answer. Glad he got a shot though when the season mattered, because now we know for absolute certain that he's not our guy. So, where does that leave our lovable losers at the QB position now? With a fragile "franchise QB" in Griffin that is an injury waiting to happen when he comes back with nobody to adequately back him up when he inevitably gets hurt again. Sticksboi05
Kirk is what he is. He has the arm to make any throw you want and on occasion he will make throws worthy of an All-Pro selection. But in between he will make some of the most boneheaded decisions you will ever see from a quarterback. His decision-making is crippling to success unfortunately. He can certainly improve as a quarterback and if he actually had a full training camp as the deemed starter I'm sure it would help, but the reality is, right now the idea that he is or could be a franchise QB is just completely off base. He is a backup who could maybe be a serviceable starter with a great supporting cast around him. When RGIII is healthy, he is the starter.

Agree kind of, if RG can perform. As a back up Kirk seems to play better, Either way we are likely screwed.
