SkinsGuy
The strange twist in this is wasn't Williams with John Belushi the night he died? Or was one of the last people with him before Belushi died?

RonArtest15
Depression and mental illness in general is no joke. His death hits home with me on a personal level. RIP to Williams and I just wish the best for his family as they try to sort through this.

MEANDWARF
Sad. Money and fame means nothing unless one has peace.  2 Thessalonians 3:16 Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. TradeTheBeal!
Not a huge fan of his comedy, but his dramatic work was spectacular.  Check out "One Hour Photo" if you get the chance.  A monster talent…Good night, Sweet Prince.
Dan T.
I always sensed sadness in his eyes. Â Farewell to a great entertainer. Â His role in Good Will Hunting was amazing.

visionary
Really sad. Â He was great in Mrs. Doubtfire and I loved him as the Genie in Aladdin. Â It seems like so many of these celebrities suffer from drug addiction or depression or both.

War Paint
I don't even know what to say. RIP to one of the great Legend of Zelda fans. I think I read one time he played a dwarf priest on Uldaman realm in World of Warcraft. I'm not sure if it was true or not.
TheGoodBits
Not totally shocking, my impression was that he'd kind of gone off the deep end in recent years. But boy, kinda puts a different twist on the plots of What Dreams May Come and Patch Adams knowing he suffered depression and killed himself. JamesMadisonSkins
I was literally raised on his movies ... Jumanji ... Hook ... Patch Adams ... Mrs. Doubtfire ... Aladin ... hell even FLUBBER. And of course Good Will Hunting and Dead Poets Society. Damn  Loved that man. Pure genius.
Bacon
Really upset about this. I swear, comedians have a lot of crap going on upstairs. It's so sad. RIPÂ Â Gonna watch a couple movies of his that I haven't seen to get a more well-rounded view of his career. The wife wants to watch What Dreams May Come, I want to see Awakenings. SoulSkin
So sad. I've always wondered about how much pressure it was for him (really all artists, in general, and comedians specifically) to maintain or exceed that creative level they set the bar at. I don't think it translates over time that great but, in it's place and time, he had some of the most unique, funniest, off-the-wall comedy I had ever seen. I can't think of any other human being who could play Popeye and get away with it. He was awesome. RIPÂ
