He meant entering last season.

Everyone had KC penciled in as a win

I think it has to do only with the previous years record and not if people believe it will be a win.  The toughness of schedule is crap, teams like us and the falcons look easy due to record, but are likely not easy wins imo.

the colts only seem to have an easy schedule but it is because of the texans, jags, and titans poor records, not that they will be easy games this year.

Wow.  How would you find 365 days of programming?  They would have to partner with another sports team and make it a joint venture.  As it is, the NFL Network HAS to schedule a three hour show discussing the schedule, televise the combine (which might be the most boring thing ever, IMO), and other football-related shows that would not be televised otherwise.  Of the four major sports (if you count hockey), the NFL is the one that makes the least sense to have a channel based on the way the games are spread out.  Also, the NFL Network is why Thursday night football games are a permanent fixture.  If there are no Thursday night football games, the cable companies will drop the network resulting in less revenue for the owners.  But that is a tangent for another thread . . .

ESPN Classic used to contain old games/documentaries. It might get repetitive, but I would play old games, NFL Films, NFL Yearbooks, etc. for most of the day. Then, each team could have a couple hours each morning and evening of current coverage (news, analysis, etc.). That would be the off-season. During the season you would have to allocate more time to highlights, post-game, pre-game, etc.

I'm sure it's overkill, but there's so much worse crap on TV right now that I can't see how this would be any worse than what they show on many other channels. I mean, who wouldn't tune in to watch a full replay of your favorite team's big wins through history. If there isn't a channel per team, the NFL Network should definitely have a second channel that only plays classic games/highlights.

If accurate, this almost certainly means we play Dallass week 17.

Love it.

I just saw a leaked Lions schedule that has them playing the Bears on Turkey Day-- which is odd because they played the Packers last year and should be playing an AFC team this year.

I guess that's part of the new TV contract that network/conference ties are not set in stone.

Yep, the TV game is completely changing. For us geeks that eat up network history, rules, etc it will take some getting used to, but this will ultimately be good for the game.
