ballin2041
What makes you think that? We have the same name and many of the same players, but none of the discipline or heart. I totally disagree. 1st off the D is a lil over aggressive sometimes against plays but other then that we are a very disciplined team. It just looks like we are the total opposite because everything is a lil off but its getting less & less each week and we will be totally straight by the 2nd half
HateNMyEyez
WE ARE NOT making playoffs. TOO MANY PROBLEMS. Even a healthy and perfectly fine rg3 couldn't will us to the playoffs with this garbage ass defense
Botched
7-9 might be enough to make the playoffs in this garbage division.
Rdskn4Lyf21
We have the second worst defense by yards in NFL History! Right now, we are not a playoff team. We're not even a bad team! And to top it off we got screwed several times this game by the refs.  The refs were pretty solid this game...I don't get the response I'm seeing by fans. bradboyd80
Yeah, I think I've spent all my optimism. We have got to be the most undisciplined team out there right now. Boneheaded penalties; mental mistakes; and RG3 simply isn't RG3. With the remainder of our schedule, we will be lucky to win 7 games this year.

Gibbs Hog Heaven
7-9 might be enough to make the playoffs in this garbage division.  That is exactly what a Dallas friend predicted they'd win the division with today.  I couldn't argue.  Hail.

TheGoodBits
7-9 might be enough to make the playoffs in this garbage division. That's actually possible. 8 wins, with key victories over the division, should definitely do it. Lot of football left. Defense wasn't horrible today. Offense will keep getting better. Hunter_R
I'm liking all this garbage division talk when the Cowboys are sitting at 2-1. They're not competing for a wild card, people. It doesn't do the Skins any good that the other 2 teams are about as pathetic right now.
PapaLazarou
Since we are being unrealistic, we will also win the Superbowl this year. Â Against the Jaguars.
Idaho fan
Only reason I hesitate saying that there is no way possible Skins make the playoffs and that Ill shave my head if they do is the fact that the NFCE looks like garbage right now... The cowboys are 2 games ahead of us granted...  They are going to have to go on a run (of wins...) though.. and Ill be surprised if that happens.  The cap penalty has just put this team at to big of a disadvantage to overcome.
Eparadox
If we sweep Dallas, I give us a 50% chance at this point...trouble is the chances of sweeping Dallas are probably like 25%...so overall I give us a 13% chance, ugh
88Comrade2000
The NFC is so bad this year; there's a good chance Dallas will win it with a 7-9 record; like the Seahawks won the West 2-3 years ago.  The Redskins will not be anywhere near 7-9.
clskinsfan
Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Come on man. It is OVER! With this garbage ass defense Jacksonville can put up 24. At least its over 3 weeks onto the season and not a heartbreaker in week 16 or 17.

Voice_of_Reason
5 teams.  5 teams in history have made the paloffs from an 0-3 start.  3 tems since the expended format of today.  Good luck with that belief.  Hail. How many teams made the playoffs form 3-6? I'm guessing less than the number of teams that went 0-3. Not saying they will or won't. But they are 3 games blow .500, same place they were last year. This year, though, they don't have to win 7 in a row. We'll see. I honestly don't care about the record. I want to see them play better first, before thinking about record. Bacon
They're just...awful. I can't think of any other way to describe what I'm seeing. Last season, they were competitive even in losses. This season? Why would they improve? Give me a break.
skins island connection
Yeah, and maybe you should stick to that thread? Â Let the guy be optimistic if he wants, what's it to you? Destino
I really just want to win a game. After that we can all get overly excited about just how great this team will be. Right now, I'm not greedy, just give me a win.
mistertim
We are hurt by the cap penalty and the o line is built on zone blocking. Not for pocket passing, RG3 showed some improvements. We we would need to trade Orakpo and davis for 2 decent CBs to compete. The ground is what we're hurt by. Griffin's fumble, Robinson losing the ball after the TD catch. I blame the ground for everything. Without it we'd be 1-2.

Skinzfever2010
We're deff going to make one hell of a push. Robert is shaking the rust off right before our eyes. Today we saw some of the same mistakes with timing and turnovers but most importantly we saw flashes with big runs and big passes. These early ball games don't mean much right now for any team. The Eagle loss hurts the most but the division being weak helps a lot
TheGreek1973
Look right now our D is no where. RGIII basically is playing like a rookie, making rookie mistakes. Our coaching staff is clueless how to fix things. Next week is Oakland, we should beat them, and then we have the bye. The thing is right now the Giants are worse than us, they don't even have a clue what they are doing. If we turn it around in Oakland, the game with the Boys will tell us if we have a chance this season or not. was this a joke?  germans bombed pearl harbor? Obviously you never watched Animal House.
