I seriously can't remember being this excited about our prospective run game since the Clinton Portis trade. Can't wait to see him on the field!

So if we tagged KC, and he signs, would a new team in a hypothetical trade be able to restructure? Or would he have to play on the tag?

The more time goes by, the more upset I am about the Fuller piece of this. I mean seriously. Dude was rated the #1 slot corner in the entire league, and on a cheap rookie contract nonetheless. You want to let KC go and roll with Alex Smith? Fine. I don't like it, but can stomach it and see what happens. But trading Fuller AND a 3rd rd pick just doesn't make any sense. It really feels like we're back to the days of the McNugget and Haynesworthless deals.

Yeah this was pretty much a nail in the coffin for me too. I mean seriously....I’d rather roll with McCoy and extra talent (and Fuller still on the roster) than what this trade cost us if they really don’t want to pay Kirk. Feels like we’re right back to the old Vinny days.

Wow, there are some big names on that list. If we don't end up drafting a RB, I wouldn't mind us taking a shot at Isiah Crowell or Jerick McKinnon. WRs, would love to see Landry or Moncrief, but they would probably command a pretty big salary.
