I'm tired of hearing this.  If the talent level is awful we have no reason to expect success so the ****ing about the failure just makes the fans look ridiculous

Most of the players drafted by this regime wouldn’t even be on most rosters in this league

You and I see him differently.  I don't see a SB QB in Sam.  Sorry.  I don't.  I see a good QB who may, with a little luck, reach Kirk Cousins level.

If our pick is high enough to get one of the elite prospects, I would do it.  The line is garbage, but if the new people in charge love the QB prospect that is sitting there, they can take him and redshirt him until our line is better fortified.

This organization is the worst at finding QBs.  I don't mind having stiff competition at the game's most difficult position.  The worst that can happen is that Sam beats out that pick and proves himself as a top 10 dude.

Are pick will not be high enough. Got to be top two. To many holes on team to trade up.

No, we don’t. I don’t know what Sam Howell is. I also don’t know what Caleb Williams is besides a diva and Drake Maye is because they’ve both choked all year. But yes, let’s draft a QB and watch them get crushed into pixie dust because there are no FA answers to the OL.

Fix the line and stop putting it off. Just get it freakin done. THEN worry about the quarterback. You want to draft a mid round QB? Go for it. Let him compete. But taking a QB early is basically condemning their career.

What do you think Dan is doing right now? 🤣🤣

Who gives a rat's ass?!? The only reason I, and probably many others, can somewhat stomach the abysmal load of pathetic horse**** right now is because that useless tool is gone. And because of that, we have hope for a brighter future now.

HTTR!

If we end up with the 3rd or 4th pick I think its bad news for Sam, I dont think Carolina or Az are picking QB which means our new GM gets to pick his guy and one of the top 2 QBs coming out of college.

I know people love Sam and our O line is poor but I think it will be hard to pass up for whoever is making that decision.

I disagree. You trade the pick for more and get a good OLine before we draft another QB who will get murdered behind our line

Fire everyone.  Bring in a real GM.  Everyone is on the trade block if it makes sense.   Change the name.  Take major fuddy and flush it.

At this point what would it hurt to jettison JDR and Ron?  Not because we have a great replacement in house but because I’m tired of seeing their faces.  End this season.  Bring on a he draft and a new regime.

Last week’s performance against the Giants was way worse. Firing Rivera is the easy part, there is no one on the staff to replace him.

Id wait until the end of the season. But I’d have the GM ready to introduce right after I fire Ron and have him already working on coaching options and doing roster evaluations.

You can’t interview GM candidates (assuming they’re currently in the NFL, which they should be) right now, same as coaching candidates. They have jobs to do during the season and it’s tampering. There’s a reason even the Raiders, who fired everyone of consequence already, aren’t interviewing or pursuing GM candidates right now. They can’t. So you can’t really have that ready to go by the time Rivera is fired, unless you hold onto Ron past Black Monday for whatever reason lol, that would be the loophole

there’s also a chance a meteor lands in the stadium and wipes them all out, who cares. Everyone on earth knows they’re getting fired, it’s only a matter of when. Nobody cares about what’s technically possible. Technically RG3 could be our next coach. Until it happens or doesn’t happen there’s a .000000000000000001% chance

You quoted me before my edit: But that is not how I feel though.

If it's not, then don't select the QB.

If it turns out to be high enough AND there's a prospect the new GM loves, then take the dude.

I agree with your assessment of Howell but Kirk Cousins may end up a hall of famer when its all said and done. Hes currently top 8 in quarterback rating, top 25 in passing yards all time, and top 20 in pssing TDs.  He also has the greatest comeback in NFL history. If he plays a few more years hed have a case.
