LetThePointsSoar
It's officially the off-season, and this kid played just well enough for us to think about what-ifs until August. How great will it be if he could truly develop into a great QB1?

GhostofSparta
I'm hooked after a single game where the OC tried his hardest to handicap him. But putting a beatdown on Dallas in your first career start will do that. 16

To me, it felt like he could be everything we wanted Heinicke to be. Still plays with a whole lot of moxie and swagger, but actually has an NFL arm and enough pocket presence to know when to use his legs. Because Turner handcuffed him all game, it's a really, really small sample size, but I'm excited to see him compete for the starting job next year.

Daniel.redskins
Why would we not develop Howell this off-season as the starter? If he was a first round pick it wouldn't even be a question. I've seen everything I need. Accuracy, check. Mobility, check. Quick decisions, check. Quick release, check. Arm strength, triple check (that pass to Terry).

Spaceman Spiff
Can't wait to see the reactions when he has a couple duds in a row. We'll see how excited everyone is then. Easy to be excited about a guy who beats Dallas in his first career start. 3 3

Riggo-toni
I am still not confident enough to bet next season on him as starter, though he has earned a chance to compete. From what I saw of the defense, we could be a winner with Jimmy G managing the game

Well if you are a Howell fan, Washington's history suggests the more guaranteed money we give Jimmy G, the sooner he will have a career ending injury. 1
