Spaceman Spiff
It’s cool to see companies flexing on Russia, too. Dogecoin is going to be worth more than the Ruble by the end of this weekend. I’m no geopolitical expert like some of you guys but I don’t see Putin lasting too much longer here. Maybe a few weeks but that’s it. A few reasons: death by 1,000 papercuts. A few sanctions wasn’t going to hurt him but there’s a massive amount. Similar to Dan Snyder facing corporate backlash in 2020, corporations are doing whatever they can to hurt him AND Russia. The oligarchs are getting pissed and won’t allow their wealth to be squandered by this ****nugget for much longer. Add onto that, his troops seem to not have their hearts in this fight…that tweet on the last page about the EU offering immunity/passports to Russians that don’t want to fight will be taken advantage of and there will be defectors. So either Putin gives up in a few weeks because of mounting pressures from multiple angles or he keeps doubling down on his sunk costs like a gambling addict at a blackjack table who’s seen his stack vanish and keeps going to the ATM. Pretty soon his bank won’t let him make withdrawals and he’ll have to mortgage everything to keep playing. Either he wakes up and realizes he’s done enough damage to his country on the world stage or he causes irreparable damage that will send Russia back decades. It will be interesting to see.

No one here is a geopolitical expert, we're all jus watching and yappin and trying to assemble a jigsaw puzzle missing pieces with no picture on the box. But it is entertaining. The biggest mistakes get made by "experts", I am sure that Pootin' has a slew of experts that told him this was a great idea

tshile
https://www.nytimes.com/2022/02/28/us/politics/ukraine-russia-microsoft.html Quote Last Wednesday, a few hours before Russian tanks began rolling into Ukraine, alarms went off inside Microsoft’s Threat Intelligence Center, warning of a never-before-seen piece of “wiper” malware that appeared aimed at the country’s government ministries and financial institutions. Within three hours, Microsoft threw itself into the middle of a ground war in Europe — from 5,500 miles away. The threat center, north of Seattle, had been on high alert, and it quickly picked apart the malware, named it “FoxBlade” and notified Ukraine’s top cyberdefense authority. Within three hours, Microsoft’s virus detection systems had been updated to block the code, which erases — “wipes” — data on computers in a network. Then Tom Burt, the senior Microsoft executive who oversees the company’s effort to counter major cyberattacks, contacted Anne Neuberger, the White House’s deputy national security adviser for cyber- and emerging technologies. Ms. Neuberger asked if Microsoft would consider sharing details of the code with the Baltics, Poland and other European nations, out of fear that the malware would spread beyond Ukraine’s borders, crippling the military alliance or hitting West European banks. ….. More at link pretty cool article on how Microsoft jumped into action to help protect Ukraine from Russian malware.
88Comrade2000
Puty isn’t go anywhere unless he kills himself or the Russian people overthrow his government and hang him or the Generals kill him. Putin will never stop unless he’s stopped. I expect him to just carpet bomb Ukraine next or he might even use a nuke. If he can’t take Ukraine; he will wipe out all the Ukrainians. This conflict will only end when Russians take him out. Edited March 2, 2022 by 88Comrade2000

Not hacking the post…. just saying that this is exactly the kind of information/content that falls under propaganda. The stuff the world is accusing Putin/Russia of doing. Its totally effective though… on so many levels.
