Not one person's fault, but TH is showing why he isn't the long-term solution.  I like the kid a lot, and he'll be part of this team going forward, but big time games reveal a lot.  TH is just limited in what he can accomplish.  Heck, half our offensive plays are cut because TH simply cannot repeatedly throw chunk-yardage plays with accuracy or arm strength.  Couple it with and unimaginative OC and you've got disaster if your hopes are to be what Ron claims he wants us to be - a consistent winner.

He is the real deal. That said, horrible on the team to let Gibson try to block him, and on Heinicke for thinking he had any time with Gibson blocking him.

 

Imagine if our DC could muster up unique pass rush situations like that.

The way you stop this offense is load up the box and stop Gibson and make Taylor beat you in the air in obvious passing downs. Dallas is executing that game plan to a tee

McVay actually credits the 2015 MNF game against Dallas where he did the same thing and they got beat by a bad Dallas team as when he realized you can’t do that anymore.
