Emotion is just a physical response to thoughts. And hate implies you have a lot of energy behind it (stored). Truthfully, you don’t have to ‘do’ anything about it. You can just sit with it, examine it (if you’re curious), and it will typically pass - as all emotions do. You can discharge it any number of ways. Hopefully you choose to use (ie. channel) that energy in a constructive way… rather than a destructive and misplaced alternative - which will typically prolong/intensify the pain/suffering.
