The Redskins have opened their 2019 season with two losses. Both against Divisional foes. Now they get to close out Week 3 at home on Monday Night against the visiting 1-1 Chicago Bears. The Bears don't have much of an offense but seem to have what may be an elite defense.

On the flip side, the Redskins have a developing passing attack and a disastrous defense. The Redskins haven't had a Defense this vanilla since Mike Nolan received his ice cream. Oh, and the Redskins already have more guys on IR then any other team this season.

Will the Redskins finally put one in the win column?

As usual, poll closes at kickoff. Go vote!

I’m bracing for that first down run out of a tight formation.

For -2 yards...

We have a few. Richardson and Guice will be back next year. Thompson is still under contract next year.  We will need a TE though as I am sure Davis and Reed will both be cut during the off season.

Reed won’t be cut.

Well, he didn't get 26, now did he?  Domination, I tell ya!

Nobody completes 26 in a row against the Skins.  NOBODY!

The 1972 Miami Dolphins season was the team’s seventh season, and third season in the National Football League (NFL). The 1972 Dolphins are the only NFL team to win the Super Bowl with a perfect season. The undefeated campaign was led by coach Don Shula and notable players Bob Griese, Earl Morrall, and Larry Csonka. The 1972 Dolphins went 14–0 in the regular season and won all three post-season games, including Super Bowl VII against the Washington Redskins, to finish 17–0.

Yep, got my dates screwed up. Thanks

People should be aware by now Alex Smith wasn't the issue.  Sure he wasn't as good as some of us hoped, but we have been through 3 QB's since his injury and none of the "playmakers" on offense haven't suddenly looked good.   They need better players, period.

He was much of the problem, but looks good by comparison.

A new QB fixes nothing.  A new coach fixes nothing.  A new GM is a START.  At best, this team sucks for another 2-3 seasons while it builds up.

We've been doing variations of the 2-3 year rebuild and 5 year plan for going on 25 years now.

So you're saying same old same old

Moreau is some hot garbage.

They keep trying to sell us on garbage and it pisses me off. Moreau, Dunbar, Nicholson, Nesyke etc. At best we are talking average JAGs.

Manusky might be the worst D-coordinator in the last decade of a bad bunch.  Either that or the personnel in the secondary are the worst in the NFL.  Every single pass whether it is 2 yards or 20 yards is completed with zero defenders around the ball carrier.  This isn't even NFL caliber football I am witnessing.

Manusky is light years better than Barry. But that isnt saying much.

Look at the way the Eagles are lining up on defense.  Entire front 7 stacked up on the line.  Where is the adjustments by Gruden. Oh wait, I forgot....it's Gruden.

I thought so initially, but now I am not so sure.

The team has quit on Gruden.

I disagree.  They are just not very talented and poorly coached.

I was thinking Jay may open up the playbook, and at try to put a show on for the fans. Who knows, maybe it would also surprise our opponent.  Run up the guts in-completion punt isn't very entertaining.
