Mostly, we are oblivious to it. In our daily lives, oblivious. We should strive for a civilization where minorities reap the same benefits. You consistently take a small minority and make it against a whole group and blame anything you experience on a whole subset of people. You are doing exactly what you don’t want others to do and are making zero efforts to acccept that. It always seems to go back to people feeling slaves being freed and the civil rights movement somehow erased the generational legacy that white people had built up to those points. Some people struggle with the concept that a lot of the power structure of today was put into place or at least the ball got rolling hundreds of years ago.
