China Posted May 20, 2019 Share Posted May 20, 2019 Mass shooting at Brazilian bar leaves 11 people dead A group of heavily-armed men — riding on a motorcycle and in three cars — went on a shooting rampage at a bar in Brazil, killing at least 11 people on Sunday, according to officials. The “massacre” unfolded in the country’s northern Pará state in the city of Belem, the public safety department said. Authorities did not release a motive. Seven men were said to have carried out the 4 p.m. attack, according to Brazilian news outlet G1, which cited Pará officials. Six women and five men were killed. Officials said almost all of them were shot in the head. Police managed to wound one of the alleged gunmen and took him into custody, but the others reportedly got away. The bar that they targeted is in a high crime area, which had to get police reinforcements earlier this year, according to G1. Would you say skill is equally tantamount to killing 10-15 people when using a knife vs an AR-15? If we’re talking about Orlando/Vegas numbers in similar settings, can an individual with extensive combat training and experience kill that many people with a knife in the same amount of time? It doesn’t matter because while you guys are arguing over whether and ar-15 is bad or not, a group of people are working to make carrying a concealed handgun a constitutional right.
