I have the impression that players and agents would like working with him because he is polished. We need someone that doesn't drive away FAs. I suppose it makes some sense. I don't think any other team would hire him at this point being in his late 50s with no front office experience. If true, at least its not a Tampa re-hash. Unlike John Lynch, at least Mayock has been busy evaluating talent for the past 10 year or so. He lives and breathes that stuff. Really big on tape and effort. Basically, he's Scot McGloughan without the drinking problem and crazy wife. It has potential to work out for us. But probably won't. Because...Snyder.
