The ship, Wise Honest, was impounded in Indonesia in April '18. The maintenance costs were supposedly paid in US dollars, from US banks. Allowing the US government to perform a civil asset forfeiture claim. So the US government is now claiming possession of a ship that somebody else seized, over a year ago. Assume this means that we are now on the hook for maintenance and docking fees. Knowing Trump, we won't pay them. If they have to play religious zealot because the idiots who vote for them like that ****, then so be it. None of them actually believe it. And if they do they are too stupid to be in office. Same with everything they stand for, really. Trump is just an extreme example of this. He doesn’t stand for anything but will day he believes in anything if it works.
