Several scenes in Requiem for a Dream and several scenes in Event Horizon.

Requiem for a Dream is extraordinarily dark, but I thought it was too artistic to be disturbing. A lot of horrible stuff is happening at the end, but you aren't lingering on one thing. I imagine if the entire amputation scene was displayed in one long scene, it would be unwatchable.

The movie "Happiness"probably tops the list for me. There are some scenes in there that are very very hard to watch, and not because of violence. Any time the perv father is talking to his son is incredibly disturbing. I wanted to take a shower after I watched that disgusting movie.

Happiness is a brilliant and, yep, disturbing movie...ridiculously entertaining for the most part, but the perverted father really pushed the envelope. I think I said "OMG, I don't ****ing believe this" more in this movie than damn near any other film lol ...

The scene in Casino where Joe Pesci's character and his brother are bludgened with aluminum bats, then stripped (why?), and dumped in a shallow grave where they have dirt shoveled in on their still breathing bodies.

I find that scene borderline comical for two reasons.

1. Joe Pesci is narrating it until he gets hit with the bat.

2. Frank Vincent finally got his revenge.

To this day, I'm not sure if Casino is a good movie or not.

Maybe its just me but I just find sex scenes in movies uncomfortable LOL. I don't know why but its just awkward.

Disagree, though it also depends on how graphic the scene is. When I was 13-14 years old and Monsters Ball came out, immediately became my most favorite movie of all time. To this day I still don't know what that movie was about.

There is a dual scene in Phantasm II that gets me queasy just thinking about it. A "bad" guy has his hand maimed, then must maim himself to keep from getting killed. And in a second scene the same guy gets destroyed from the inside out. All by these little silver orbs. It's bad.
