I am not looking forward to the brand split either, but I DO think they have enough talent for it. In fact, I'm hoping the split enables some superstars to be elevated . I just hate the idea of two champions...didn't they just unify them?

I am unfamiliar with NJPW, so to me, Gallows and Anderson look like standard weak henchmen...which is a shame, because from everything I've read, they were a dominating force. I also simply just see Festus when I look at DG...

IIRC, didn't they wrestle the day they flew in? And the tour they're on is like, 9 days straight? These guys and girls are phenomenal athletes, but WWE really works 'em to the bone.

I watched some of the segment again and see what you're saying. He had quite a few subtle heelish tendencies that I didn't quite catch the first time. I still think his booking has been atrocious, though. Getting him involved with AJ will help the (hopefully eventual) turn, though.

Reigns had the perfect opportunity to use that hot crowd in his favor to come off as a heel. Totally botched it. "Come on y'all, I'm not a bad guy!" with that smirk on his face was cringeworthy. He just doesn't have the mic skills. Reigns is definitely not being booked as a heel whatsoever. He is being booked as the company's top babyface. But, it's not believable. Not to mention the commentators reminding us last night at every opportunity "This crowd is crazy! They're booing people they'd normally cheer and cheering people they'd normally boo!". Gimme a break, Maggle.

I had never seen Nakamura wrestle before. I was marking the **** out during his entrance (hell even Zayn was marking out). And those elbows! Gained a ton of respect for Zayn after that match, too. I hope others in the WWE Universe do as well.

Anybody else watching NXT Takeover Dallas? Amazing matches. Nakamura / Zayn will be one for the books. Bayley / Asuka ruled and the Balor match is nuts. Joe got cut early on and the ref/med team kept interfering and cleaning up to chants of "PG Sucks" "Bull****" and "Let Joe Be"

Was at the Richmond house show tonight. Had a blast! Here's the card. A few notes: AJ vs Tyler Breeze Ascension vs Hype Bros Becky and Sasha v team bad Jack swagger v miz New day v dudleys v usos Charlotte v Natalya KO v zayn Reigns and Ambrose v sheamus and wade Barrett Really pissed that I missed the AJ/Prince Pretty match. Right as I got in, AJ's music was playing. Mojo was really over and had his own Hype section in the crowd. Ryder looked pretty sharp. Would love a curveball from WWE to have him win the IC belt (but it won't happen). Becky was on Tinder today in Richmond. Fun fact. Match was pretty good. A few people mocking Tamina's ring attire by chanting for Roman during the match. New Day match was definitely not booty. Stoked I got to hear the "AWWWWWW RICHMOND!!!!" intro from Big E. DVon was getting into it with a fan on the ramp. Tore up a poster. Fan looked legit pissed off. It was great. Xavier Woods sold a back slap for about 45 seconds and ended up sulking over to Kofi like a little kid who just got in trouble for the tag. Dudley's teasing the tables was one of the biggest pops of the night. The Nattie/Charlotte match was pretty solid. Lots of figure4/sharpshooter teases. When Nattie finally got it, the pop was huge. Kind of a botched roll-up to end it from Charlotte, though. Crowd was confused. KO & Zayn, amazing, especially since they've teased with KO avoiding Zayn in the main storyline. The match was really entertaining, and KO was hilarious on the mic, ****ting all over Richmond. Great ring chemistry between the two (as to be expected). This was my favorite match of the evening. Ambrose looked pretty sloppy to be honest, but that's just his scrappy style as Maggle would say. Roman got one of the loudest pops of the night. Mainly positive. Boos were still there, but he definitely seemed over to this less than smarky crowd. Not gonna lie, he was fun to watch, limited moveset and all. *Fun tidbit: Chilled at the exit ramp form the Coliseum. Zayn and Breeze were riding together in a sedan. Zayn was driving. Also saw New Day driving off together.

I thought the promo was fine. He cut a really good one last week on the youtube channel. But...he does need some sort of refresh. He's such a talented worker, you'd think there'd be a way to get that really really over. But, then again, this is WWE... Would mark out hard for this.

They should keep booking Reigns as a berserker. It could easily transition into a heel roll since people love to boo him anyway. And yeah, Shane/Taker makes no sense at all. I do not get the motive. Maybe they're slow playing Taker backing off of the match because what Shane is saying makes sense re: being Vince's *****.

Damn, I loved that Nattie/Charlotte match. I hope they integrate her into the main divas storyline. The crowd loves her. The shot of her hitting the sharpshooter in the middle of the ring with the camera zoomed out and the crowd going wild was freaking great. She's also a smokeshow...her body is ridiculous.

I loved the Bushwhackers, but their finisher (while unique) was super weak.

Loved the Zayn appearance last night...hated that Shane got physical. He didn't look credible at all. This whole Taker angle is going to get interesting; there's gonna be tons of bells & whistles, I'm sure. BTW, if anyone wants a great listen, the last 2 episodes of the Steve Austin podcast feature Vince Russo. He goes in depth as to why the current product is failing and I honestly couldn't argue with any of it. Incredible.

Apparently it's not that difficult to travel to NK. It's easier if you're not American, also. But, they don't mind the tourism money. I've followed the work of some photographers that have visited NK and this set is by far my favorite. He did a reddit AMA and was basically taking pictures of stuff he wasn't supposed to. Eh, I disagree with the moves thing. If people really liked Reigns, they would eat those moves up (think Goldberg, Austin, etc). I think he could benefit from new attire though, for sure. I still think you have to turn Roman. People love to hate him. This main event is going to feel really funny...you KNOW HHH will be the guy the crowd is behind during this match, despite being the corporate heel. Reigns will be boo'ed. They both realize this. That's why I was saying a double turn could be a good thing. With Shane-O back and Stephanie seemingly on her heels with power (kayfabe), the "Authority" could sort of fizzle and HHH could embrace his NXT personality...A commissioner-type role. Shane v Undertaker...I'll admit, I marked out hard when Shane came out. I loved watching that dude take insane bumps. I don't see how Shane could win clean over Taker...I'm thinking they do a 'fingerpoke of doom' sort of thing where Taker eats a pin to screw Vince.

They will probably try a double-turn at the WM main event. Trips will be the face in that match regardless of what VKM wants the crowd to believe. People just don't buy Reigns as a babyface. If they turned him, it would do wonders for Roman. People already love to boo him. A heel turn would get him over. Also, WTF was with that Truth/Axel match at Fastlane?
