Depth is great and all, but the kind we have is bodies for defense, not a rotation of guys we can regular expect double digits out of. Wizards have hung with the nets for the other three. Had the wizards played defense all game they’d have maybe won an ugly one, but they came out of the tunnel stupid and took a quarter to focus. Too late. Hopefully coach beats them over the head with it to stress how important it is to play all 4 quarters. Doesn’t help Beal and Dinwiddie had bad shooting nights, but that doesn’t excuse the defensive lapse early in the game. 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

There’s a chance he gets comfortable with a few offensive plays. Until then his defense helps us now. Not saying he’s what the wizards wanted him to be when they drafted him, but it’s not all bad.
