Porter did get a lot better in year 3 but has never turned into an impact NBA player... I see Deni as being very much like the early Otto. If you're a special player, it shows right away. Not every night but we'd see certain plays or certain games where the NBA talent is immediately apparent. Deni's not showing me anything at all that tells me there's a future impact guy. The problem is the Wiz still lack a real 3&D type starting caliber SF that can also get to the rim occasionally. No KCP is not that answer. Every team in the association does this but us. We cannot get Kispert or Bertans the ball with an open look at the line more than maybe twice a game. They need to set off ball screens for their shooters and they aren’t doing it. It’s more ball movement without screens, which doesn’t work against better defenses. im not sure how Beal could be worse offensively tonight.
