StillUnknown
Chase HughesVerified account@chasehughesCSNWatched the Wizards win in the Nats clubhouse. Everyone went nuts. Destino
Funny how the baseball game and basketball game followed the same script. Both ended with a heart broken and sad Atlanta.

Zazzaro703
MOst exciting day in DC sports history. Sad that the caps had a chance for the walk off as well but didn't get it.
Going Commando
That was an emotional roller coaster. But it's weird, I actually felt pretty good about our chances despite the 4th quarter meltdown. I think it's the Paul Pierce Effect. I trust this team to close out tight games late. This is the toughest team I've had the pleasure of rooting for. So proud of them for digging out this win without Wall.

Sticksboi05
This will be known as the I Called Game...Game. That is some Larry Bird-esque **** from Pierce. With a ridiculous shot to win it and then that statement.

Forehead
How much does Atlanta hate Washington right now? lolol If last night had gone better, I'd have said New York would hate us more, if the Caps had knocked out the Islanders and Rangers back to back. Sadly, that gratification will be put off till tomorrow, when we ****ing win game 6. No room for defeatist attitudes here!
CrypticVillain
Man, can't nobody tell me nothing tonight. This last month has been one of the greatest moments I have had as a DC sports fan. I'm enjoying this man....AND THE CAPS WINNING GAME 6 TOMORROW!
Going Commando
I think Otto got gassed late in that game. And Gortat was ice cold when he checked back in. Props for Beal for ending that horrific run with the big jumper. Some for Porter for making the sweet dish to Gortat for the basket as the clock was about to expire. Some for Will Bynum for draining those clutch FTs. And then Truth makes the biggest shot of the season. That was amazing. Cold as a witch's tit while Atlanta was charging and those four guys made the winning plays under pressure that dug this one out.
pjfootballer
While I admit that the 4th quarter was extremely frustrating, and I would have been angry as hell if they had blown it, some of you have got to stop being so negative when the team is still up 7, 10, etc. I don't care "how many times you've seen it before." Some of you should be paraded down main street in dunce caps Sports is just as emotional for the fans as it is for the players. Fans react in different ways. I just find it somewhat weird that the only time you post is after the game and you don't actually talk about the game, but you seem more interested in calling people out for their fandom. Let people vent a little. This team hasn't won jack squat since disco was around. I'm probably one of the few people that witnessed the 78 and 79 teams live. It's been a long time. We're all fans of the same team and want the same thing. Let em be. Edited May 10, 2015 by pjfootballer

Kilmer17
Sorry if this was posted pages ago. But I just read on espn that this win, was the first conference semi final home win since 1979?!?! That seems almost impossible. Thank you Paul Pierce
