Springfield
I was offered two tickets and a parking pass to tomorrow night's game on Thanksgiving. I told my friend that I appreciated the offer but my sleep was more important than a live Redskins game for free.
theTruthTeller
Since the conferences changed to four team divisions in 2002, the Skins have been in last place 6 times (including one tie with the Cowboys and one three-way tie with the Cowboys and Giants). Â Only Spurrier avoided a last place finish - true to his luck as head coach, Zorn managed an undisputed last place effort with an 8-8 record. Â Overall record 77 - 109. worstSeat
Doc Walker's contributions to the radio broadcast are no better than the guys tailgating the next space over. Â Cooley's break downs of the actual football being played are so accessible and insightful, he could become the next Madden.
Cliffmark1
I'm really sad right now. I think its about the state of the redskins. Its not just a losing year, its a losing orginazational set-up that never changes.
skinsmarydu
Didn't get the Skins game here (thank God, I think), so I watched RedZone all day. Other than our 3 Super Bowl wins, I think it may have been the most exciting Sunday I've ever had! There was almost no defense anywhere, just running & scoring.  At one point, they went to our game saying, "every touchdown, even in the blowouts", and never showed another one. My husband even laughed at me at one point. At the half, he said, "Well, at least ya'll are successful at getting through the tunnel to the locker room!", to which I replied, "They should stay there. **** it."

TexasSkinsFan
I am a bit ocd and collect things, one thing I collect is Redskins autographs. I have several hundred of them and always adding when I can. Â Anyone know an address I could send our new head coach a letter to see if he wouldn't mind adding to my collection? Peregrine
I wish Redskins fans would be more demanding, because Im tired of watching bad football :-(. Â Im glad Redskins fans arent more demanding, because really demanding people are jerks.

CrypticVillain
I don't have anywhere else to put this, and I am not starting a new thread, so I will put it here. Â If you put Luck or RG3 on the 49ers or Seahawks, they would probably be looking at winning their second Super Bowl in February. #hypotheticalthoughts Edited January 13, 2014 by MLSKINS
Gibbs Hog Heaven
Right here, right now, I predict a double digit winning season next year.  I haven't predicted a double digit win season since I don't know when. Not even through Gibbs 2.  Yeah, I've bought FULLY in on Coach Jay!  Hail.
DaGoonie55
GHH, I love the enthusiasm bro. Â I'm not sold our defense will be up to the task. Â We gotta stop the Eagles rush attack, this current roster cannot get that done without leaving our secondary in potentially disastrous situations. Â But whatever, I'm on board too! Â 10-6 here we come.
Morrison J
Just a heads up to anyone interested Aldrick Robinson was on a podcast recorded over in the UK this morning. Presume the link will work in the US: http://feeds.feedburner.com/NflukInsideTheHuddleAudio Wouldn't say theres anything major said in it but anyway.  When Aldrick was asked what he put last season down to he just said: 'A lot of calls didnt go their way which they were upset about and that they lost a lot of close games.' Refused to blame RG3 aswell.   When asked about RG3 he said: 'RG3 is a cool and humble guy. He cares about the team and wants it to be about the team instead of being all about RG3.' He still hasn't met Gruden yet but can't wait to. Says team is excited about him.  Really not much coming from it but as its prob the only time I can reveal an exclusive from over here in Ireland, I'm doing it!

Mark The Homer
Rcvd the following in an email fwd:  I agree with our Native American population---I am highly insulted by theracially charged name of the Washington Redskins.  One might argue that to name a professional football team after NativeAmericans would exalt them as warriors, but nay nay....    We must be careful not to offend, and in the spirit of political correctnessand courtesy, we must move forward.    Let's also ditch The Kansas City Chiefs, the Atlanta Braves and the ClevelandIndians.   If your shorts are in a wad because of the reference the nameRedskins makes to skin color, then we need to get rid of the ClevelandBrowns.    The Carolina Panthers obviously were named to keep the memory of themilitant Blacks from the 60's alive.  Gone.  Offensive to all white folk.    The New York Yankees offend the Southern population.  Do you see a teamnamed for the Confederacy?  No!  There is no room for any reference to thattragic war between the states that cost this country so many young men'slives.  Besides, the South shall rise again!!    I am also offended by the blatant references to the Catholic religionamong our ball team names.  Totally inappropriate to have the New OrleansSaints, Los Angeles Angels or the San Diego Padres. I'm sure the Pope would agree.    The fact that there are birds on their shirts does not protect either theArizona or the St. Louis Cardinals---gone!    Then there are the team names that glorify criminals who raped and pillagedas their way of life.  We are talking the horrible Oakland Raiders, theMinnesota Vikings, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Pittsburgh Pirates!    Now, let us address those teams that clearly send the wrong message to ourchildren --- and, after all, it is all about the children, isn't it?     The Green Bay Packers and the St. Louis Rams -- clearly promote gay men.  Wrongmessage to our children.  The San Diego Chargers promote irresponsiblespending habits.  Wrong message to our children.    The New York Giants and the San Francisco Giants promote obesity--a growingchildhood epidemic.  Wrong message to our children.    The Cincinnati Reds glorify downers/barbiturates abuse.  Wrong message to ourchildren.    The Milwaukee Brewers --- well, that goes without saying....   Wrong messageto our children.    So, there you go.  We need to support any legislation that comes out torectify this travesty, because the gov...  (The rest omitted. No politics in the Stadium!)

jflow78
Rcvd the following in an email fwd…. I notice he left out the Redsox.  He also left out the 49ers, where thousands of people ran to the west with the dream of getting rich quick, and lost everything.  I'd say that's glorifying a devastating period in the lives of many citizens.  Awful.  Plus, I ******* hate Jim Harbaugh. ANYONE foolhardy enough to be rude to a monkey in a suit carrying a gun whom we recently discovered rides a pony is a FAR braver man than I.   Hail. What you can't see is, that gun is actually sown into my hand.  The pony's doing.  lol Edited January 15, 2014 by jflow78
