ExoDus84
Getting caught on your phone while driving out here with net you a pretty little $200 fine. After seeing countless twits putting on makeup, sexting, changing clothes, or doing anything other than paying attention while driving, I don't mind one bit. On the manual car thingy, for normal DD cars, I'd prefer an auto. I have a G37, it's quick, and relatively hassle-free to drive. If I had a fast sports car, or something with a throaty V8, I'd opt for the manual. My first car in my early 20's was a mustang GT with a 5-speed. Tons of fun. AsburySkinsFan
I'll never "get over it." I'll just continue to deal with it in my own way. I still think it's selfish of people to be a hazard to everyone else one the road. Most people who are on their phones aren't working and are probably talking about nothing. But I know what year it is and it won't go away, so like I said, I'll continue to deal with it my way. (And no I'm not a road rage person) Stay safe out there. 90% of the time I'm driving on open roads (live in a fairly rural area) but seriously, there's no way I make my living if I'm not on the phone or using Siri's voice-to-text feature. I always use my bluetooth headseat and find that it helps considerably! And you're right, most are probably chatting away abou the weather, not me. I'm coordinating showing, appointments, offers, closings, and following up on prospects. It is a bad day when I'm in the office.

AsburySkinsFan
Sounds like a load of excuses. ROTFLMBO!! Thank you for your assessment of my job requirements. BTW, have you ever sold real estate full time? Have you ever worked in outside sales in the modern tech era? In my 2nd year of selling real estate I closed 4 million in sales volume, most 2nd year agents don't sell 4 or 5 houses all year. This doesn't happen with me sitting at a desk. But, yeah again thank you for your informed assessment of my work productivity.

Wasn't aware of your importance and how that rendes rules and regulations irrelevant to you.You got called on being a distracted driver. You made EXCUSES to justify why you do it. Now you keep doubling down on those excuses. Thou dost protest too much.

Mr. Sinister
Bad experience? Get behind the wheel of a car worth driving, and shifting gears becomes rather therapeutic. True. Makes you feel like you're one with nature
mistertim
Manrobics FTW. This is so 80s that even the 80s were like "uh, guys...seriously?" Though I'm totally going to rock out to this song during my next workout (on my portable cassette tape player of course).
