Howell with some misfires today, haven’t seen him do that much in his young career when he has time to set his feet. He needs to settle down and EB needs to take some weight off his shoulders to enable it

He’s gonna have to throw it. Especially now that we are down 2 scores already.

Commentators called that perfectly: short field and take a shot on 2nd down. Expect the Bills are a real team and went for it on 1st.

Forrest is great in the box and a sure tackler, but he lacks speed/as the last man back, i have concerns about him getting burnt. although he did take a bad first step/angle.

Pass rush is again just letting Allen chill. and we start from behind yet again

D has a chance to build its resume as an actual premier unit here. Can’t always play in ideal circumstances, sometimes you’re gonna be backed up and still have to get a stop or takeaway. Elite defenses do that.

err nevermind. Looking like classic Washington here, as soon as something goes wrong it’s a force multiplier and everything falls apart.

offense needs one of two things here: either a quick strike TD to get the D back on the field with less pressure on them, or a long methodical drive to assert themselves for the first time and prevent this from snowballing into a disaster game

No they don’t. :ols:

Actually, they do.  Especially in the WCO.

QB is responsible for setting the protection and identifying blitzers because the center has his head between his legs and the QB is surveying the field.

Center also calls line protections.  They work together.

But in almost every offense, protection starts with the QB.
