There are several young coaches who left our team and got head coaching jobs elsewhere. We need to find the next young Joe Gibbs type who is an offensive coordinator right now and wants to run his own team. We don't need a young defensive coordinator. We need an offensive mind who can develop our quarterback and call plays. I think you can interview Eric B. but we should also have at least 3 or 4 others to interview as well. We probably should have the owner pick the new General Manager and then have the General Manager set up the Head Coaching interviews. I think the Coaches told Young not to freelance and he kept freelancing anyway. I would have benched him but in today's NFL evidently if you have a "star" then you cannot discipline him or bench him. Sheehan thinks they are talking behind Young's back. I think Sheehan is dead wrong. They wanted him to build trade value now that he’s finally healthy enough to play, he can’t do that on the bench even if you’re unhappy with him. It worked. He showed he can play a bunch of snaps again without his knee blowing into a million pieces, got a few sacks. I've heard rumors somewhere that it might have been Josh. To me, that didn't sound like Josh's MO however but it did sound like something another "Dan Snyder" would have done, i.e. impulsively going after the biggest "name" currently available.
