Mace’s seat could be jeopardy depending on this Supreme Court case. (I believe it is still ongoing)

Buck will likely be primary’d for not voting for Jordan.

Good’s district is interesting. It has changed with the redistricting. I don’t see it going blue, but it’s possible he gets primary’d.

Just reflecting, if this is how they plan to gain power, what do you think they'll do with it?

Just think of whatever hellish scenario and you’d be right.

They will emulate Nazi Germany as much as possible and may go even further.  No, they won’t round up people and gas them; they would just shoot those they don’t want on the spot.  They will first give the option of deporting all non whites and if you refuse, you will just be shot.

They will do everything to make American white only.

I think Jefferies should have picked 3 or 4 safe Dems and had them vote for Jordan.  Then have them go on TV and talk about how Jordan cut a side deal with them for their vote.

Just have Nancy Pelosi, and only Nancy Pelosi, vote "yes" for whoever the Republicans put up. We might get to see some heads actually explode

Would start a whole new round of entertaining Q conspiracies lol...something involving Pelosi and Antifa conspiring to get Jordan elected, or that it's not really Pelosi but a look-alike, or the FBI got together with Pelosi to conduct a coup of the House and then blame it on Gaetz lol...those all work.

Obviously the folks who are blocking Jordan know whats up.  Gaetz and Jordan schemed / plotted together to take out McCarthy.  No one wants to say this publicly.   Certainly they decided to do this after the debt deal.

They then kneecapped Scalise -- it's even likely Scalise just happened to get in the way of the House Freedom Caucus.   They then astroturfed "America wants Jim Jordan" everywhere.

What's funny is how valueless a 5 vote majority in the House with a Democratic Seante is.

The rules are that a "majority of those who cast votes" will count, so GOP needs to have 20 or so voting "present".  There are 2 vacant seats, so threshold is 217.

If 9 GOP members switched from not-Jordan to "present", it would throw the vote to Jeffries.  Let's say 12 Dems voted Present. That would just push the threshold down to 212 votes to win. This is why even if 60 GOP members oppose Jordan, they won't vote that way.... it would result in Jeffries winning.

The GOP is pissed at themselves.

Now that Sidney Powell has taken the Georgia deal, does Gym Jordan withdrawal from Speaker contest? She has to testify truthfully in other court cases, and once she does that in Georgia against TFG and conspirators, it's all out there what was going on in the Oval office including which legislators participated. Her deal is one of the most important events in this whole thing.

I hadn't considered that connection.  But Gym did just drop out.......

I read this as, he doesn't want a vote today. He still has a long-term plan to win over the holdouts.
