CNN: Paul Pelosi, husband of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, attacked at home

So it seems to me that if Charlie Kirk and his scum sucking audience wants to play games like this, maybe some mysterious PAC could come together and post up a fund that will pay the bail and legal fees of anyone attacking and attempting to murder a member of the GOP's propaganda networks.

Let Kirk take a ball peen to the forehead and see how ****ing stupid he wants to get.

Just a thought.

But along with these thoughts, it should not in any way be sloughed off or taken lightly that not only will they deflect and defend murderers like Kyle Rittenhouse and DePape, they actively encourage their activities by their defense, and subsequent star-making among the Nazis.

This isn't slippery slope. These are the acts of war. Not the attack (although it is), but the reaction of the propaganda and the leadership of the enemy. This is escalation. They will do their usual handwashing if anyone points at it, so it's maybe time to stop trying to point words.

All it does is embolden them.

You do not cure a disease by popping the blisters as they come to the surface.

This guy has enough out there of his own accord to be brought to justice.. I hope it's swift and includes a long prison term, some federal prosecution in addition to the state prosecution, loss of voting rights, and a hefty fine.

He needs to be made an example of what happens if you drink this autocracy swill.

Well...according to NBC news, he was here ilegally, sooooo will probably be deported and shouldn't have voting rights anyways.

So idk about fines or jailtime. Guess that's upto Canada and US officials to decide.

News outlets seek access to evidence in Paul Pelosi attack

A coalition of news organizations, including The Associated Press, filed a court motion in San Francisco seeking access to evidence against the man charged in last year’s attack on former U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband, Paul Pelosi.

During a Dec. 14 preliminary hearing, the San Francisco district attorney’s office introduced audio and video evidence against David DePape, the man accused of attacking Paul Pelosi. But it has refused to release the evidence to the media.

Attorneys for the coalition said in the motion filed Wednesday that “the public and press have standing to assert their rights of access to court records and proceedings.”

The coalition also includes The New York Times, The Washington Post, the Los Angeles Times, the San Francisco Chronicle, The Press Democrat, CNN, Fox News, CBS, ABC, NBC and KQED, an NPR-member radio station in San Francisco.

A spokesperson for the district attorney’s office didn’t immediately respond to an email seeking comment.

Evidence introduced in the preliminary hearing against DePape included audio from a 911 call made by Paul Pelosi, portions of body camera video taken by the two police officers who responded to the Pelosis’ house, portions of video of a police detective interviewing DePape and footage captured by Capitol Police Department surveillance cameras.

Dude started glitching up a storm lol...then pivoted to the DoJ.

It's funny as **** when that happens on Fox News. Every once in a while something comes along that's just so clear cut that they can't really spin it (like video of a dude with a hammer literally breaking into Pelosi's house).

But the guests who come on Fox always assume that everything is going to be a softball and the anchors or interviewers will agree with them, so they don't really prepare for anything that might throw them for a loop.

So when it happens they all completely just glitch out and there's this stunned silence while you can hear the rust covered gears in their heads groan as they're trying to come up with some way to pivot to a new talking point.

This just in... Ted Cruz is a POS.

Ted Cruz Refuses to Apologize for Pushing Pelosi Attack Conspiracies

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) stopped short of offering an outright apology for sharing conspiracy theories about the hammer attack on Paul Pelosi. After the brutal assault on Nancy Pelosi’s 82-year-old husband during a break-in at their San Francisco home in October, Cruz was one of many right-wing figures who pushed spurious claims about the alleged attacker, David DePape. Cruz shared a screenshot of a thread by far-right troll Matt Walsh which claimed it was “absurd” to call DePape a “militant right winger”—despite reports that DePape had posted on far-right blogs. “Truth,” Cruz captioned the screenshot on Twitter. When asked by a TMZ reporter if he would apologize following the release of bodycam footage of the attack on Pelosi, Cruz couldn’t bring himself to say sorry. Instead, he called the attack “utterly unacceptable” and labeled DePape a “deranged lunatic.”
