Congrats to Pedersen, a damn good coach. And to Lawrence, the kid didn't let those 4 early picks destroy him. Amazing game.

He seems destined to be a legend now, good for him getting chance to link up with a coach like Pedersen.

Bosa was actually right though. Not only was the RT offsides but he held Bosa from behind by the face mask on the same TD play. Of course the refs don't seem to call that anymore 2/3s of the time though.

Still need to maintain composure. The Chargers benefitted a ton from some missed PI calls in the 1st half.

Purdy looks like a god if you just stat-watch this game lol

3 passing Tds

1 rushing TD

320 yards

1 sack

no INTs

crazy for your first playoff game.

Better than any Redskins QB this season. Or last season. Or 2021.

If Sean Payton doesn't fly to Los Angeles, walk into the Chargers coaching room, and say "this is mine now", he's insane.

Because Sean Payton has never coached a choke job in the playoffs before.  Of course the Chargers should fire one of the brightest young coaches in the NFL, after two winning seasons in his first two years, and replace him with a retread who is out of football who won a single Superbowl with an All Timer QB 14 years ago.

It isn't that Sean Payton has never coached a choke job in the playoffs. It's that he's never coached a 27-0 choke job in the playoffs with as complete a team as the Chargers have.

Anthony Lynn got his head coaching career off to a better start than Brandon Staley has. Both had 9 win first seasons, but Lynn got 12 wins instead of 10 in his second season. One of the brightest young coaches in the NFL indeed.

I thought our franchise was cursed. Chargers just can’t seem to have nice things.

At the end of the day, they were a wild card team that lost by one on the road to a division winner with one less win than them and a QB who is just as talented as theirs.  They were lucky to make the playoffs in an injury-riddled season where every single one of their good players got seriously hurt, save Ekeler, and their QB hasn't quite made the leap yet.  The sky is not falling for them.  They are going to be a good team for the next several years just on the inertia of what they've already built, and they have the chance to become a great team with a handful of roster moves.
