If you were watching the game, you might have more context for what is going on with the offense.  The only thing you accomplish with taking Taylor out is running the risk of injuring your backup QB.  They are teeing off on Taylor.  There is almost no time to do anything with the ball.  Turner came in with a terrible gameplan.  Dallas is stacking against the run and blitzing the crap out of Taylor.  The line has no answers.  There is no pocket.  Bringing Allen in will make little to no difference.  Allen will not make the line block better or Turner call a better game.

The OL isn’t playing well but it’s not like the pocket is collapsing on Heinicke within 2 seconds every play. He’s holding the ball, not finding anyone, and making poor throws on the plays where he’s not being hit. There is yardage being left on the field. He’s floating balls up which lets the defense close and then no one looks open by the time the camera gets there. He’s playing poorly, while at the same time getting little help. Both are possible.

you can't do that.  A starter has to be able to have a bad game

Not if you’re putting your best players at risk. He’s back to throwing high and putting his players at risk against a hard hitting team. Wave the flag and save your players.
