I was really getting used to getting a nice new player every night.  Now I have to go to bed without a major upgrade.  Just doesn't feel right.

We havent.  So far we have signed a journeyman QB, a #3 WR, a replacement for our departing CB who may or may not be as good, and two former Carolina Panthers who are backups at best, while losing 6-7 players.  Seems absurd to just assume its going to be great rather than hope itll be adequately improved, but then again Ive seen this fanbase do this every offseason.

Won't be an easy schedule, i would be happy with divison champ and 11-6. Next year thougth, 13-4 or 14-2

Two guys I'd love to bring in still are Malik Hooker and Adoree Jackson. Both would or rather should want a one year prove it deal.

Couple more things I just learned about Samuel.

 

He led ALL receivers in "Catch Rate", by catching almost 80% of passes thrown to him.

Also among league leaders in 3rd Down catches for first down.

 

Both of those things were major weaknesses for us last year, so it's a huge upgrade from what we had - and that's not even mentioning the numerous other things he does well.

Yeah, think this is one of the busts. Probably shouldn't have already written him off but there are always flops in every draft. 

 

Harmon isn't a factor at all, imo. Be surprised if he's on the roster this year (maybe PUP'd).

We should be picking up another playmaker, still a receiver and TE light. I don’t want to enter the draft in that position, I’d be adding one or the other at that spot in free agency.
