We have heard a lot of love for Jones as it pertains to justifying him at #3, but who becomes the favorite to draft Jones if he isn't at #3? Everyone seems to assume Lance/Fields are the fallers, but who stops a Jones slide? I mean there's a chance he could be there at #19, I guess. I think there's a better chance Jones slides to #19 if Lance goes #3 than I do Lance or Fields sliding to #19 if Jones goes #3 ... simply due to their athletic profile fitting the needs of the NFL more than Jones. I love Horn/Surtain as much as the next guy but I am not giving up the farm for them. Finlay on air just said, from what he heard Lance isn't their guy and they aren't trading up for him. Make no mistake... if they move up and one of the QBs is there, they are going to take them. I have a gut feeling that SF is going to take Fields at 3. Atlanta goes Pitts. Cincy/Miami go Sewell/Chase in some combo. New Orleans takes Lance if they are at 7. If not someone is moving to 7 to scoop Carolina and Denver out of the QB.
