Yes it is an amazing third round. Sure would set the roster with a few 2nd and 3rd rounders! The WR talent is better than some first and second rounders. For a draft week in IOL this round would have some decent talent From my selfish side, I hate seeing Asiasi going this early

KDawg, Nice, you have a ton of time invested in this! The only things that jump out are Ruiz way up to 21, plus Chinn and Hennessy all making the the top 30...but I get it and like the heck out of all three!!!

I like Hunts potential versatility as well as his play. I'd be okay if Tyler Badass fell into the 4th and we'd filled some holes already in that roster. You are correct about him, he was hyped up all last year as a mid 1st rounder. I like Jackson. The one thing that bothered me with him was he reminded me of Moses, seemed to hold a lot. @HigSkin- great Claypool post!

I like this format and your rankings make sense. Then again, I like any format you put these in lol. I like both of the Love's. Don't mind Bryant late. I usually have a crush on one mid to late rounder but nothing yet. Need to review Josh Love more, he could be the one but don't know a ton about him. I have some familiarity with Flacco and he is intriguing. He could be worth a flyer in the 7th if that's what they want although probably an UDFA

So much Tua talk and love here. What if Tua is gone with the #1 selection? Do you take Burrow? I am not a fan of taking Tua. I like Burrow more so I find this question unsettling. I would listen to every trade offer on the table
  6. I was hoping for a decent draft pick, OL or DB option than Njoku but you may very well be correct...which is sad. Effing Trent! Hopefully there is a late rounder included and David needs a change of scenery. It has been reported there were issues between he and Freddie K. Dude is talented but he needs to effort more on blocking to find a home the Redskins.

I am not opposed to a trade down. If played right they could fill so many starting and heavy contributing roles on the roster. Maybe add a pick or two for next year as well. Could lead to the reset this team has needed for years. Clowney would not be a bad way to spend some of the cap space. His first step is incredible. It jumps out at you when watching their games. He needs a little work on techniques but is blessed with all the tools. And F the Giants!!! I'm in the middle of Giant country. The last thing I want is them anywhere near Young. Ah, I see watcha did there

Yes you nailed it. I am a fan of an HB type if they are good blocking. It gives more offensive flexibility. I find Hopkins also falls into this category. Both are decent blockers yet do everything fairly well. Deguara is just lower ranked than Hopkins. Both can hold up to some degree inline.

Yeah Utes x2 possibly While a little sketchy a tweener, I'd put Blackmon on the list in the late teens. I don't see him as a corner. Burgess actually may deserve a higher spot. He is short but does everything fairly well. Interested to hear your thoughts KDawg

Yeah I meant the two love their hitting! IMO Acy is one a few CB worthy of a late flier at Safety.

Stone plays like your Quarterman Yes, large drop off after 7. That's why I see a guy like Acy being used like you have Hall.

I am with you on the top seven. I have Winfield slightly higher as I find him a "safer"pick. I did cool on Delpit like most early in year but belings a 2. I LOVE that you have Hall 3rd. He is a favorite of mine. I'm sure others won't be with you on this but I am all in! There are a few other CB's that may be better at S. One might be Demarkus Acy who intrigues me like Hall, versatility. Stone, ehh. Thanks again for sharing your work.

!!!!0mgz!!!! Trent Williams finally showed up

I have a hard time seeing Houston having interest but they have a few interesting young players including their 1st, 2nd and 3rd rounders from last year: Titus Howard OT Max Scharping OL Kahale Warring at TE!

I was thinking earlier, everyone has them selecting Burrow. What if they traded out and the new team selected Young or Tua. What then would the Redskins do? Burrow??? I'd trade back I believe there is zero chance they would select Tua. RR dealt with an athletic injury prone QB for years and I don't think he wants to do it again. That's why he is in on the two current QB's.

I believe I speak for most of us that Traut and Kmet are the top 2 and that the skins would be much improved moving forward with either on the roster. Beyond the top two we all have A O and others in varying order. I am thrilled to read and discuss with competent posters like these TE posts. You are all open eyes to the blocking capabilities of the options. So many ignore or devalue this important yet boring aspect of the position! Guys like Asiasi and Hopkins deserve these accolades that years ago would not have received. I may have these 2 higher than you for that reason and downgraded others because quite frankly, they don't do it for what seems to be RR's plan. Other guys I overvalue are Pinkney and Deguara to a lesser degree. I do not love Parkinson but find these posts fascinating and will review him more. Again thanks for the great discussions in this thread!

Patience my friend. It the draft was next week I would agree. There are way too many holes in the roster. However, there is plenty of time. They are loading up with solid backups which we have not always had. There will be numerous players that will be released as we move closer to the draft and the team is a nice spot cap wise. Also at some point the TW adventure will find closure leaving the team with needed draft capital, a needed player or both. IMO there will also be another trade of a Def front 7 player that do not really fit RR's vision.

Jackson is solid. In fairness to DeVito his OL just wasn't that good, he was under continuous pressure. None-the-less, he wasn't as good as expected or needed. Things may not be any better this year as Cuse loses many of their top players.
  18. I agree, one of Allens top attributes has been having a decent arm.
  19. My first thought was there is already more that 4 RB's on the roster and my understanding was a 2 year deal. Normally 2 year deals mean guaranteed money normally which feels like throw away when you can pick up RB's cheaper via FA or in the draft Also expecting DB's at this point...the signing threw me

I can't ignore this...I can see this happening even though I'd be against it. Really don't want to move up for him. If they like what he brings to the table, there'snot much else in the class. If this were to be the case, I would expect more DB signings

Looks like ayou re working on understanding Gibson Love Shenault but only see him as an option with a trade down from pick #2. There are a few others that can be used with jet motion Turner likes my guy Gibson, Raegor or @volsmet suggestion McFarland Regarding the TE's it's hard to argue with A O in the 4th if we have a 4th. All of the TE's I am considering have at least some blocking ability. This is why I say I like Pinkney more than most. Same for Deuara and Asiasi and they would be available with our 5th we have from the Dunny trade. I see why you like Quarterman for sure. Your homerism might be shining with Pinckney...unless you are talking of the TE Pinkney from Vandy, lol

Huh, I thought Allen made perfect sense to pair with Haskins and looked for this acquisition for some time. He doesn't cost a lot (although yes a 5th round pick feels a little high), should be easy to extend, already knows the system and isn't expected to be a future starter. Instead he can push Haskins and help him adjust to the system and terminology. I am not sold on Haskins so I guess they could go Tua but I def didn't look at it your way.
