Doubt they give him up for a 4th, they value him more than that.

Are they going to go into the season with all 3 TE's? Maybe theyll find value in a 4th round pick for another positional need instead of carrying 3 TE's.

I think I just wait for Cooley’s guy Woerner in the fifth. At least he can play inline

He can block, not sure about him as a pass catcher though but not sure.   I like Keene more than most.  I put him on the list of "my guys" in the draft thread but am surprised he went so early.  I bring him up because his style reminded me of Woerner but i liked Keene more as a pass catcher.

Here's clip I saved of Woerner when I looked at him months back.

I got to digest who is left I am probably about Akeen-Davis-Gaither or Bryce Hall with the first pick in the 4th.

If they aren't done with WR, I'd like this dude.  If they feel desperate at TE, I wouldn't hate Harrison Bryant or Hopkins albeit it seems a little early for them.

Yeah, they could easily do that. It's not like Brate is good. Jameis just trusted him and likes throwing YOLO balls in the RZ. Gronk and Howard is a good combo especially when you consider Gronk could get hurt at any time or be a part-time player.

I think they would trade Howard, just not for a 4th.

In the 4th, I like Harrison Bryant with our 1st 4th rounder then Saahdiq Charles with our 2nd 4th rounder.

SIP, think you will find this interesting.  NFL.com compares Harrison Bryant to George Kittle.

I think with the Gibson pick they have to be done with WR.  Cant afford to take two when you both have good FA stopgaps available and such a huge need on the OLine, and TE, and CB.

I can understand the thinking, but 1) BPA, 2) we have 5 picks (might wind up with more), and 3) we could use receiver depth (and Harmon is still our best Z ATM).  Wouldn’t be surprised if we don’t grab another, but I suspect maybe a flier on one (a speedster?).

Agreed.  We seem to be creating competition / depth at most positions and we are paper thin at the Z after Harmon.  Wouldn't be surprised if they were looking for someone to push Harmon and given the way the draft is unfolding a receiver could be the BPA available at our pick (especially one of our later picks) and meet that need.

Unpopular opinion here, but id take Jake Fromm and have him compete for the starting job...two years ago everyone talked about him like he was the next sure thing at QB at the top QB in the draft when he declares....comes down to earth this past year but the talent is there...Im just not sold on Haskins.  I hope Haskins proves me wrong if hes the starter but I dont mind rolling the dice on Fromm esp in the 3rd and 4th rounds. Fromm is going to be a successful QB in the NFL.

Would you rather have the second pick today or move back about 10 slots to pick an extra 4th rounder?

We already have two, don’t we? You want THREE 4th round picks?

Not that that’s a bad idea, just confirming that’s what you mean

A little confusing because Gibson says he prefers RB and models his game after McCaffrey.  I think he will play the role of Sims where he lines up in the backfield, slot, and all over the field.  It looks like Sims Jr is going to be our primary #2 WR.

If we can trade for OJ Howard and sign Jason Peters then I would be satisfied.  It would also be a miracle to get a positive outcome with the unruly Trent Williams as well.

I could get behind it. Fromm will at least be a solid backup. I don’t think he busts. I’d take him in the 4th.

With Kyle Allen and Haskins, I don’t see Fromm as a wise investment. We’d be flushing the fifth down the toilet if we cut Allen. And I’m not sure Fromm would excel here. I think he’d pan out in New England, but Fromm had some serious struggles in college with accuracy.

A 6th? A 7th? I’d listen. But not a 4th.

Swiss Army knife is Gibson as has been reported.  McCaffery along with other position areas (Return Specialist etc.).  I truly think the Skins are still trying for Howard and even with drafting an Left OT (Charles, I hope) Peters is a need for 1 year.
