He did some good things, some bad things, but for better or worse he is the future and we are going to ride with him. He's a first round qb after all. Let's build around him and put him in a position to succeed. This idea that Alex Smith's broken down self is coming back to compete for a job is crazy....he's beyond done. What's his upside? Let's ride with our first round qb who we are playing now. To me the gun is there, and the potential is there. Bright future. We just need to put him in a position to succeed and make sure the next coach if it's not BC is someone that is going to make working and building with DH the priority.
