I swear sometimes it doesn't seem like a play is taking any longer to get off than any other play, yet the play clock is down to :02 when the QB goes under center. Bad thing is, even if they do the smart thing and jettison Smith and eat the cap hit, going with a rookie, we're still going to have YEARS of growing pains. Think about that for a minute.
