Just because 1/3rd of the population voted for a moron who managed to get elected because of an arcane electoral process which failed to prevent the very thing is was creared to do does not mean that I share share in his shame.

I live in Kentucky, closed primaries and I'm a registered Independent.

You live in the country in which he is bringing shame to.

That is not MY shame. It's his and the people who voted/support him to share.

I'm ashamed of what our country did, and what Trump has done in his short time.  We are all in this together IMO and we all share the shame.

If it makes you feel better to think that Trump supporters somehow don't count or aren't apart of the country, then so be it.

I'm definitely ashamed of him.

It's one thing if he knew what he was doing as a statesman, or if he didn't look like a puppet being manipulated from our worst enemy.

But he doesn't know what he's doing, he throws gasoline on every fire he starts, and he is a puppet. He makes us all look stupid, makes us all weaker.

I generally try to give credit where it's due, and so far he's done one thing i find acceptable, and that was helping in getting the American woman released in Egypt. Practically everything else he's done is the worst thing he could do at the worst time he could do it.

His disarray and the resulting chaos of his ineptutude and inexperience in our government is embarrassing to us on the world stage, our allies are wondering if we can be trusted to have their backs or help with allied interests. He keeps showing them we don't.

His main foreign policy seems to be sucking up to Russia, while Russia threatens our allies, who he disrespects on a regular basis.

Russia's new phase of the plan seems to be to embarrass him as much as they can, and he makes it easy.

Because once embarrassed he does remarkably stupid ****, without fail. They can manipulate him, and they do.

****ing shameful, and the stink is on all of us, regardless of whether we voted for him or oppose him or not.

How did you get that from what I said. If YOU choose to own someone else's shame then that's on you. But shame implies guilt or culpability. I think you are mixing shame with embrassment.

What's making me extra crazy right now is that his supporters are acting like if this counsel finds nothing on him that suddenly he's an amazing president. For me, if they find stuff (which I think they will) let the impeachment begin. If they don't, *shrugs* he's still a piece of **** and 100% unqualified to be president. Hell, he doesn't even seem to be qualified to be a human being.

After Mueller, Trump Critics Worry: Maybe There’s No Scandal

Since the summer before the election, Trump’s critics have been suggesting or sometimes stating outright that Russia is involved with a criminal conspiracy that reaches to the highest levels of Trump’s inner circle. But now that an unimpeachable bulldog prosecutor has been named to probe these very allegations, the critics seem to be trying to move the goalposts, saying that the real problem isn’t criminality, but the sleaze and outlandish behavior of the Trump campaign more generally—behavior that was already obvious to voters when they went to the polls in 2016, and will be even more obvious when they go to the polls in 2018.

Trump’s outrageous and indefensible conduct around the Russia investigation—his firing of Comey to attempt to quash the inquiry, along with the subsequent allegations that he demanded Comey’s loyalty early on and leaned on him to drop the investigation of Mike Flynn—cries out for a special counsel, and Mueller, by all accounts, is a consummate choice. Any wrongdoing related to the Trump campaign, from the President himself to bottom-feeders like Carter Page, should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

But the Trump-Russia hounds now seem to be realizing the limits of the scandal they have been pursuing—yes, maybe someone like Manafort will go down for money-laundering, and yes, Trump had shady deals with Russian banks as a real estate tycoon in the 1990s. But this is simply not as big of a scandal as they would like it to be.

I can see that people would be worried about not finding a scandal.

Like the husband that comes home and sees his naked and breathless wife in bed in the middle of the day, with a pair of men's briefs slung on the floor, and a pair of feet sticking out from under the drapes.

Everything is fine. there is a possibility they are your briefs even though you wear boxers, and the toes might just be an avant garde sculpture. She may have been jogging n bed so she's out of breath and her hair is messed up. After all, lots of people jog in bed.

Come to think of it, there's really no need to even check. Just move on.

I doubt they will find evidence directly linking Trump to Russian intel. Probably Manafort and Flynn but not Donald himself. That's still incredibly damning that it was happening with people on his staff. Especially since he knew Flynn was under investigation and hired him anyway.

What I do think will come out of this is a subpoena for Trump org financials. He's been involved in real estate deals for decades, including casinos. They will uncover a web of connections to Russian mafia/oligarchs/gov officials (which are one and the same), and probably some extensive money laundering in there too. Trump could get caught up in a RICO investigation as a key player/financier. IMO these damning and illegal financial ties are more likely to be why Putin owns him than a pee tape.

C'mon people, look on the bright side! The orc army swept through, raping the media and ****ting all over the election, and misery and despair swept the land, remember? Remember where we were in February? How is this not way better? The system is fighting back against this infection, antibodies rush in and report on their bull**** everyday, the courts defend the rule of law, and their faction is going ape**** at being stymied and denied their ill-booten gotty.

And we're only @ Day 118? Seriously? I woulda been thrilled to be this far along by Labor Day

Don't be greedy, sit back and enjoy the show, there are several more acts to come
