What was beautiful about it? That they had a chance to win it last second? That we still manage to have very questionable play calls especially on 3rd down? That or running game appears elite? It was a great win but there is still a lot before we win games comfortably.

Our offense will be fine. An off game here or there is going to happen. The worry, typically, was that when the offense sputtered we were doomed because of the other two phase.

Not today. Punt return TD, good kickoff return, and some good punts pinning them deep. special teams showed up. And multiple sacks and a shutout in the second half, with something like 5 straight possessions with less than 5 plays? Beautiful job defense.

Going into the season, the thought was if the offense had a pedestrian to bad day, the game was a loss. We had a pedestrian day today and came away victorious. Big hand for the defense and special teams, and little to no worry about an offense that just had a down day but should continue to be a top 10 capable unit.

Thinking long term and division title: So critical to get these away game wins after dropping first two at home.

Also, what this does for the lockeroom as it pertains to confidence and positive energy/perspective on season moving forward.

The coaches will have a focused group ready to listen, fight and build on this win.

Go Skins!

Well, the fact that we won makes it a beauty.

I'll add that our defense and special teams looked really good.

Then our offense came together to put enough points on the board to win the game. It wasn't a junior league team we were playing. We were playing the #1 ranked defense in the league. I was glad we kept our composure and didn't go for the big play or Madden style no punt. We played well and won the game

;) LOL Seriously, our offense has work to do, specifically the run game needs improvment, but it feels good to be 3-2

Offensively yes not the other two units.

The Ratbirds averaged 6.2 yds per carry. In a 1 score game and they chose to attempt 48 passes. That is not good D that is brain dead play calling. That fake FG they tried was nearly as dumb as our swinging gate from the Zorn era. It should have been 16-16 going to overtime.

All credit to the D they pulled it out in the end and the Special Teams was big other than the missed PAT that could have cost us the game if the Ratbirds had scored.

You gotta play the hand that's delt you. Skins play calling was worse IMHO

How dare our QB and offense allow the defense/ST win a game for them! How dare they!!! Don't they know that's not allowed in the NFL except if you're a good team?

Alright, I'll stop being obnoxious... I know they sucked today. But, still. :ols:

What we did today is what many, many good to great teams do in inclement weather on the road. Majorly fortunate on that redzone INT, but outside of that offense at least moved the ball at times. Flacco and the Ravens offense were utterly terrible after that first quarter, pretty much. Defense and Special Teams won it for us... again, I'm extremely satisfied by that.

Well, people around will treat it like Browns D or whatever...

Icing on the cake is the Lions beating Eagles. Even better W for us.

Was expecting the Eagles to win and the Skins to fold. Football gods had other plans though. Other than NFC East teams, it is always a good day to beat Baltimore.
