My response was never directly stated at you, if it had been I would have written your name or quoted you, I did not. I read the last couple pages, most of which consisted of comments all looking to complain about Forbath.

As I stated, Forbath has been challenged, and he has gotten better.

PJFootballer, I was pretty upset when we said goodbye to Gano as well. 73% is pretty atrocious and hard to defend, but he was my favorite kicker that we'd had in a long time and as a young player there was plenty of room for improvement. It did not help that we replaced him with complete garbage.

LOL C'mon man, you quoted my statement then responded to it. How else is that to be taken? Do you routinely quote someone when responding to someone else?

"most of which consisted of comments all looking to complain about Forbath" - I guess you missed this: My Comment #4893 -

"Make no mistake, I am not on the kick the guy to the curb plan. I like Kai. If the worst thing that happens is he continues to be money from the 39 in and we look for a KO/long FG specialist or Way develops to be a little more consistent, that's not a bad option.

I just would like us to be normal for once. Get a kicker that can to do the whole job and forget about the position for 10 yrs."

I said the same several other times but not going to waste the space lining them all up. It is possible to identify a weakness in a player/position and still be a fan. I don't look for reasons to complain. I would hope no one does. AS I said I like Kai. I agree he is the best we have had for a while.

HTTR!!   Is the draft here yet????

Does anybody know where an updated Free Agent list is. I have been looking but nothing seems updated for a month. You would think all of these writers starved somebody would have done this, right?

Reason, we should be starting the discussion for post draft signings soon. Mostly camp bodies, UDFAs and vet min players, but I sadly enjoy this part of the roster building.

What about our own guys? Any more word on the re-signing of Kerrigan and Williams? With the way our cap space stands now, I don't see how we will have the funds to re-sign both of them...

No matter what, the way I see it we MUST somehow find a way to re-sign these guys! I see that as being priority #1.

I thoguht I remembered during McCloughan's presser earlier this week he said they are still working on trying to get extensions with both of them.

Where is the money going to come from though? We dont have enough to sign both guys... I for one questioned the signing of three D linemen as i knew it would end up hurting our ability to re-sign Kerrigan and Williams. And now we see that it even affected our ability to go BPA in the draft.

I dont know why, but i have this feeling that the #5 pick was a power move by Gruden, and in the process kept our new GM from working his magic and potentially getting us extra picks by trading down. I just have a feeling that already, our new GM is not being allowed to properly do his job. When will the inner meddling of affairs end?? I am getting sick of it.

I also heretell that he was the one that fought for our current bum of a D coordinator instead of allowing us to get the proven SF's ex D coordinator. I am already souring on Gruden big time...

Huh? For one, the guys we brought in FA were relatively cheap. Knighton is only here for 1 season and Goldson could potentially be as well. Two, the cap keeps going up year after year, so teams keep geting more money because of that.

If we sign those guys to long-term deals, it helps spread out the cap hits over multiple years so that makes it easier to afford them to begin with.

And I have no idea what you're talking about with Gruden making a power move for Scherff.

Ya'll wanna do this in here or does someone want to start a new thread?

I don't MIND doing it (I have to be at work and up all night anyway) but if one of the young bucks wants to get after it....

Pass catching RB (Pierre Thomas?),  blocking TE and a speed rusher.....if we can somehow add these 3 pieces; I'd be thrilled.

Speed rusher would be the toughest...maybe the Seahawks would get rid of Bruce Irvin?  McCloughan knows him.

The only other option I see  would be Dwight Freeney

Damn it, this has nothing to do with Gruden.

teams starting drives on their 30 are roughly 45% more likely to score a TD than teams starting on their 20

Source please.  That seems like a large number given only 10 extra yards to begin the drive.

Also, teams that return kicks are also more likely to have holding calls and fumble the return.
