MonkFan8
Lol, this whole team looks lost when you come at them with any sort of speed. Totally overmatched.
Springfield
This team spends way too much time dicking around with the puck in the offensive zone. Less passes, board work and kicking it back to the point and more shots on goal. Prime example: Defenseman makes a great pass to Johanson who the passes it back through the slot to Ovechkin who can't even get a shot off. Shoot the damn puck little man! MonkFan8
Anyone want to lift the puck? Wide open net for Wilson. Varly is killing us so far.
Springfield
Anyone want to lift the puck? Wide open net for Wilson. Varly is killing us so far. Varlamov has been looking incredible, especially that last flurry we had. Simply incredible goaltending.
Redskin4ever
Varlamov has been looking incredible, especially that last flurry we had. Simply incredible goaltending. He is playing well, no doubt about that. But there have been loose pucks in front of the net available to be slammed home. What's really made the difference is the Av's are keeping the Caps from getting to those loose pucks and putting them home. It's a major contrast to the Caps defense so far this year. Sticksboi05
It's funny because we had Varlamov and got rid of him. That pick should be Forsberg and instead is a 4th liner making $4.5 million a year. What a ****ing joke. F you McPhee, you're a LOSER in every sense of the word. MonkFan8
Inexcusable goal for Neuvirth there. Everyone playing like ****, love it. Maybe if we're lucky Ted will let GMGM scapegoat another coach. Hahaha, way to capitalize on Fehr's goal, guys. Scrubs.
More Complete
Varley looks good but the Caps look bad.

Springfield
Something really needs to happen with this team. Trade anyone not named Ovechkin for picks. I don't think changing the lines or firing the coach really helps here. Firing McPhee would be a start but we know that'll never happen.
Hersh
Glad I missed most of the game so far. Time to demote Brouwer and Laich off the 2nd line.

Springfield
What the **** is wrong with this team?!?!? I think an easier question to answer would be what isn't wrong with this team.
Sticksboi05
This is not a "slow start". Changing lines will help but this team has ZERO chance of a championship. ZERO. It's time to FIRE MCPHEE.

It's time to FIRE MCPHEE. I agree 100%. This is the worst I've seen the team play since before Ovechkin got here. It's just abysmal.
Hersh
If we are gonna stuck might as well have some of the younger players getting more playing time. Get Latta up, get Wilson 12-14 minutes a game. That kinda thing.
MonkFan8
All of GMGMs failures on display tonight. That and Fehr looking good are about the only positives to take from that disgrace.

skinswillwin06
I really couldn't believe it when I heard Leonsis say "I see no weaknesses." I get you are the owner and aren't going to badmouth your own team, but man that was dumb.
PokerPacker
Well that was one of the worst games I had the displeasure of attending. Also, which one of you drunks got into a fight on the metro?
SkinsHokieFan
The only way Ovi wins a Cup will be in Steve Yzerman style, i.e the team has to suck, blow it up, essentially re-build around a new set of players and he is the elder statesman. Warhead36
Should have never traded Varlamov...
RichmondRedskin88
Well that was one of the worst games I had the displeasure of attending. Also, which one of you drunks got into a fight on the metro? I may take credit just because it sounds more fun than watching this game on TV was. I really couldn't believe it when I heard Leonsis say "I see no weaknesses." I get you are the owner and aren't going to badmouth your own team, but man that was dumb. Look at the teams under him. He's part of the problem.
PokerPacker
Should have never traded Varlamov...No, trading Varlamov was the right move. The problem came in what we did with what we got from the trade. We essentially dumped Cody Eakin and Varlamov for for an old 4th liner and a young 4th liner.
