Going Commando
Paul George is in shock. That was absolutely horrific. Reminds me of that Louisville kid who broke his leg in the NCAA tourney.

Going Commando
God what an awful night for Paul George. Man, that is really upsetting. I hope he comes back strong from this. I would be absolutely devastated if Wall or Beal got seriously injured playing for Team USA. And in the immediate term, we're down ANOTHER guy. George was a probably starter. He was our stopper and natural SF. What the hell are we going to do now?

Going Commando
Yeah the Pacers are screwed now. Man, they were the favorites to win the East before this IMO. What a devastating loss. I can't believe it.
CrypticVillain
Man PG is having one of the worst years I have ever seen an athlete had. For this to happen to him, just seems like too much.
Going Commando
Coach K is going to have to totally rework the roster to account for the loss of George. If I'm him, I go with a three guard starting line up or a true two big starting line up. Davis at PF and Cousins at C or start Rose, Curry, and Harden. StillUnknown
I'm sick to my stomach off that one Hoping for the best, but the lower half of his leg formed a right angle, he's done for a while.

The basketball Gods are cruel sons of ****es. They are piling on him man. Think about how good things were looking for him and the Pacers back in December and January. Then in the span of a few months it all turns to ****. I wouldn't wish that on anyone. I think it's time to recognize the Pacers as a cursed franchise too. BRAVEONTHEWARPATH93
Honestly, ESPN can really stop showing it. Yeesh man MarkJonesESPN @MarkJonesESPN 3m All you need to know about the seriousness of Paul George's injury is that I'm looking at Kyrie Irving sobbing, crying in his Dads arms

Taylor703
That is the most disgusting injury I have ever seen. The Napoleon Kaufman one was bad but my god this was terrible. Paul George is a good dude too. Sad man, sheesh.
GoCommiesGo
That was pretty nasty, snapped in half. If I'm an owner or GM I'm seriously thinking about talking to my guys about playing in international tournaments. It's awesome to play for your country but in the end it is a business. Dont Taze Me Bro
That actually looked worse than the kid from Louisville. Looked like his foot got caught on the base of the basket support while his momentum was going in another direction. Prayers out for PG man. To lighten the mood a little, am I the only one that thinks how corny the guys on ESPN sound when reading tweets? They read it like they are at some politically correct function, with proper grammer, etc. Edited August 2, 2014 by Dont Taze Me Bro
Gamebreaker
I've been reading on twitter that FIBA has their stanchions two feet closer to the court than the NBA. In a NBA game, that wouldn't have happened.

abdcskins
First of all, I love USA Basketball. I respect and love all our players so much for going out there and competing for our great country. That is why I could never hate LeBron James, because he went and there and represented hard for the United States of America. Much love and prayers for Paul George. He is a strong man and he will come back equally as strong, United States Basketball will not be weakened. The team will not lose its will and we will prevail.
