I feel if he comes back it will be a distraction and you'd have to wonder if he was really "all in" or if he was just making a short-term financial decision. Unless Cravens had an honest to God mental health breakdown or is dealing with something very personal and very SPECIFIC, then I don't really see how you change your mind on something like this after a month. I imagine he felt quite relieved to get away from the team. So so at this point, I'm hoping he just hangs them up and it will be very "whatever" to me. I'll always think he was kind of a wuss for how he allowed it to go down, but at the same time I have no animosity towards him and I hope he has a good life. He just wasn't cut out to be a football player. And I wasn't overly high on his prospects on the field either. Total swing and miss by the former GM. That draft class is looking disasterous. They wrote articles about his passion for football dating back to when he was a small child. Yet the same guy appears to be mailing it in at training camp to the extent he has to be questioned by his peer and then 'retires' from football via a group text to his teammates that he ends with "peace out". That tweet came from the legit JSteelz. There was a point where JS took a break from twitter & Chris Worthy had changed his handle to make people think he was JS. Some were able to notice & pick up the difference, most didn't. Keim & I had a few talks about it because he wasn't sure what had happened to JS until I showed him the differences & had showed him where CW had even plagiarized a few of my own posts from here on ES. All this stuff about 'he's immature' - well yeah he's 22 years old. The vast majority of the population would be immature at 22. It's his decision. Look, if there's something going on with regards mental health then he'll need help, but maybe he just didn't enjoy the job and thought that the potential for having a brain turn to absolute mush wasn't worth it.
