BatteredFanSyndrome
The guy has the ability to make excellent throws, he's just terribly inconsistent and still skittish in the pocket. Of all the places to go hone ones skills in the pocket, homeboy went to the Browns that shipped 40% of their Oline off. If it wasn't already official, it's official now - he is done as a pro. Hue practically went all-in on the guy and already appears ready to jump ship as he can't name a QB for next week.
Tsailand
Congrats to the Browns for avoiding 0-16. Our guy got the win, but left with concussion symptoms in the 4th Q after his 7th sack. His statline was 17/25 for 164 yards, no TDs or picks.

Stats look like a typical day for Griffin (including the concussion).

The guy has no idea how to operate in the pocket and takes a lot of sacks because of it. This is not up for debate.

He started 37 games for us. If that doesn't make him ours, what would? He sure isn't the Browns'. With his injury history, he will be out of football very soon, and then he will be forever known as "Former Redskins QB" RG3. Fine. But he's not our guy. Our guy is a term of endearment, somebody you wish well, etc. i don't think that defines the fanbase feeling of Griffin.

Not sure either why the other poster would say "our guy". Those words should only be used when talking about a current Redskin, or a great from the past. If he's not currrently on the Redskins, or if he didn't bring us a super bowl victory, he can't be called "our guy". We had a lucky 7 game winning streak with him as the QB. If it wasn't for that, he'd have done nothing at all. Not our guy at all. I wish him well, since he led us on that 7 game winning streak. ExoDus84
Santa Maria. I just looked up Griffin's sack percentage this year. Whoa Nelly! 107 total pass attempts with 18 sacks = 16.8%. He's taken 18 sacks in 3.5 games played. If he played a full season at this rate he'd shatter the sack record taken by a QB. He also hasn't thrown a single TD in 4 games played over that span, has a 57% completion percentage, and a very bad 6.11 YPA average, second worst next to Brock Osweiller. Ugly. You need to do sacks/(attempts+sacks). 18/(107+18) = 14.4% The only QB with a worse percentage this year is Geno Smith, who has 14 attempts plus 3 sacks, a very small sample size. RG3's career sack % is 9.2%, which would be among the worst of all time, except that he doesn't have the 1500 pass attempts required to appear on career leaderboards. And he never will.
