Uses balanced field vision for concise reads as split safety. Long strider with above-average play speed for his size. Long arms create a high win rate on contested catches. Has put some fearsome strikes on pass catchers. Wide-flowing tackle net when locked in with tackle positioning.

London Kev
I'm ok with that pick. Don't know anything about him but addressing the safety position there is fine. 1

I expected us to to hit the offense hard in the draft after what we did in free agency. Not surprised since we were rated dead last in almost every major category in the NFL last year 9
sinews
Considering how historically bad the defense was last year, I can see it. Will be unrecognizable come Sept, as it should, with competition at every position.
DogofWar1
If you want to stop offenses, at some point you gotta tackle guys. Love me some tacklers. 2
profusion
I'm not envisioning a lot of guys standing around on defense this season. 1
clskinsfan
My guess is we bring in 15-20 UDFA's on the offensive side of the ball. 1 minute ago, srtman04 said: Not surprised since we were rated dead last in almost every major category in the NFL last year The offense wasnt much better man. 2

I watched a lot of him when I was hunting for late round picks in the boad's mock. Maybe a good sign or bad but he was the last pick for me in the board's draft and actually the last pick period in the board's draft. KDawg
I think, moving forward, after round 3 I’m going to stop guessing… it’s an absolute crap shoot 8 3 1

RVAskins
I'm ok with us going defense heavy in the draft. Even though RR went defense heavy in his tenure, we got very little value for his pics. AP's draft just shows how little talent RR acquired.

Better use of the guys we have plus the infusion of talent will mean a whole 'nother kind of defense next season. I don't expect us to be in the top 10, but I'm thinking the top 12 - 15 though, which will be major progress. Edited April 27 by The Sisko

e16bball
Magee and Hampton both give off strong “kickoffs are back” vibes. Which reminds me that it might be cool if we had anyone on the entire roster who could return kicks/punts. Edited April 27 by e16bball
DazedSkinsfan
Other than our 1st round pick, this draft went completely opposite from what I was expecting. I'm rooting hard for all these guys and hope they can upgrade the roster.......I don't buy into those BS draft grades so I'll just sit back and hopefully in a year or two we can say this class was a A+
