A little surprised how defensive heavy we went in the draft. I expected us to to hit the offense hard in the draft after what we did in free agency.

Not surprised since we were rated dead last in almost every major category in the NFL last year

My guess is we bring in 15-20 UDFA's on the offensive side of the ball.

A Chinn replacement

Big time. That's his style.  I watched a lot of him when I was hunting for late round picks in the boad's mock.  Maybe a good sign or bad but he was the last pick for me in the board's draft and actually the last pick period in the board's draft.

I'm ok with us going defense heavy in the draft. Even though RR went defense heavy in his tenure, we got very little value for his pics. AP's draft just shows how little talent RR acquired.

I'm not. If you think about it, it's probably the fastest way to get competitive. Better use of the guys we have plus the infusion of talent will mean a whole 'nother kind of defense next season. I don't expect us to be in the top 10, but I'm thinking the top 12 - 15 though, which will be major progress.

Apparently Hampton had 23 missed tackles last season. 😕

Maybe him and Forbes together can get a dude down though.

Hey, that just means he was around the ball 23 extra times! Or something.

Oh man, he’s going to be Butler 2.0

Magee and Hampton both give off strong “kickoffs are back” vibes.

Which reminds me that it might be cool if we had anyone on the entire roster who could return kicks/punts.

Other than our 1st round pick, this draft went completely opposite from what I was expecting.  I'm rooting hard for all these guys and hope they can upgrade the roster.......I don't buy into those BS draft grades so I'll just sit back and hopefully in a year or two we can say this class was a A+
