If they drop this game then it's hard to argue that all talk of any kind of turn around is officially over. Also, if the team performs poorly and loses, then it is almost like a bye week, and I hope some kind of legitimate changes are implemented. Monday nighter. 6-6 game, Stephen Davis fumbled when we were in field goal range, Dallas then kicked game winner, something like that. I has to be a different game though, as Marty was HC in 01. I have seen him play and I agree he is not good, but not sure he is the worst ever. I'm not even sure he is the worst current QB, Baker Mayfield might hold that crown. Worst ever would be David Carr, Ryan Mallett, or some other random journeyman. Commanders are bad. Bears are bad. The Bears, however, beat the Niners, and the Niners are pretty good. I know it was the first game of the season and it was a monsoon and everything, but I think they are capable of beating the lowly Commanders at home on a short week.
