Why doesn’t Elon just start his own social media platform? One without bots that he is so worried about. How hard can it be for the richest, most level headed men in the world?

I kind of wish he would and actually go hardcore with no filtering or regulating. Then his site can get busted for where pedophiles share kiddy porn, and black market for hard drugs.

That sounds like the darkest timeline. And for that reason, I'm out.

Why on earth would he want to do that? After all, there aren’t any government subsidies.

I guess this is his way of trying to save face?...

Wait, instead of acting like an adult and just handling his business with dignity and not making a spectacle of it, he went onto social media to make an ass out of himself again?

I'm shocked.

Pretty much anyone with half a brain has known Twitter is 50+% bots/dupes since day 1.

That’s why it’s been so important to whacked out right wing populist movements.

Twitter doesn’t know that. In their SEC filings they claim active bots/dups less than 3 percent.  Misrepresenting your company in SEC filings is 1) a crime and 2) a legitimate reason for Musk to cancel the deal

I’m confused, I was under the impression that twitter did finally give him access to some “firehouse” information that would allow him to see how many bots were on twitter. Is he lying or did they not provide that access?

That is what the courts will have to decide. But if you think Twitter is full of bots you can’t also think Twitter gave Elon the evidence on bots.

I can't believe anyone still thinks Musk trying to back out of the deal actually has to do with bots. lol

It doesn’t matter legally.

But Musk has said all along he wanted to get rid of the bots, he doesn’t believe twitters numbers on bots, ect.  So it isn’t like Musk is bringing up Bots out of the blue.

What? I know twitter is full of bots. What I don’t know is whether he was given access to see how many.

Nobody forced the guy to come to a purchase agreement. Should've thought about the "bot" BS before he agreed to terms.

He probably did 🤪

Twitter is claiming less than three percent. If that isn’t true Musk thinks he has legal grounds to back out of the deal.

I wonder how much of all this was so he could dump a bunch of Tesla stock at a high and not devalue the rest of it at the same time.

He was obligated to sell most of the stock he sold. His stock options were expiring.
