we didn't actually cut him, we just didn't re-sign him as a free agent.  I think we felt his snaps had lost something

Rule 3, Section 18, Article 1, Item 1 Defines the dropkick as "a kick by a player who drops the ball and kicks it as, or immediately after, it touches the ground." (NFL)) Drop kicks are worth 3 points unless it is during an extra point attempt, then it is worth 1 point. There has been one successful drop kick in the NFL since the 1940's. It was made by New England Patriots back up quarterback Dug Flutie on January 1, 2006.

I remember Flutie doing that in his last game.
