Is Jayden Daniels press conference today?

If we draft Drake Maye tomorrow, can we hire 5-10 mechanics to fix his car? I mean 5-10 coaches to fix his mechanics as a QB.

That's a lazy explanation to comfort your Drake Maye love. He didn't put up great numbers at ASU, but he saw what he has done at LSU and how he progressed each year meanwhile winning the Heisman trophy.

Some of you guys are going to get your feelings hurt when we draft Daniels. It's obvious what we're going to do. The free agent signings has a lot to do with how we are improving the team. They have clearly said we are not in a rebuild mode but we are going to be competitive and compete for Super Bowls. Drake Maye doesn't do anything for us this year if he's on this team. He has a lot of work to do. He doesn't have the IT factor. He's not a game changer at all. Some of yall think I'm trolling, but im not. I've seen just about all his games because I'm a die hard Uva fan which lol.... doesn't say much but they beat him, so I've seen plenty of ACC football this year. Stay away from him. His mechanics is awful and just with the eye test he doesn't have it. Jayden Daniels right now fits us better especially with Kliff Kingsbury system. A lot of you guys always project for the future. It's always next year and build for the future. The Snyder era has gotten to yall. Their is a new regime and they're ready to roll. It Daniels.

Yeah.... until Jayden Daniels senior season, and throwing 40 tds with 4 ints and rushing over a 1,000 yards in the SEC. Also he won the Heisman. Things change, just like Howell was a possible #1 pick at one point and then after the next season he got drafted in the 5th round. Daniels probably was a 4th-5th round pick before the season started and now it's more likely he will go #2 overall.

I don't think we are trading up to get Williams. I believe Peters is going to build through the draft, but definitely take a QB at 2, and fill our roster needs with all of our picks. For EVERYONE on the board here, I'm just going to say this. We put our faith in RG3, and it didn't work out. The people on here have ptsd from the RG3 era and don't want to draft Jayden Daniels. The same people on here who want to draft Maye were ALL in on Howell last season. I'm a diehard fan for Uva, even though they suck at football. I have seen plenty of ACC football last year, and Drake Maye is not the QB that is going to translate well to the NFL. His mechanics is all messed up. I'm just going to say this, and I'm not even trying to be funny, if Daniel Jones and Zach Wilson have a baby then you will will get Drake Maye.

Does anyone have an update of how much cap space we have left?

Ask Joe Burrow. He had a stacked oline and recievers at LSU and doing just fine in the NFL.

I remember when Pete Carrol was bashing Mark Sanchez when he declared for the NFL draft. Saying he wasn't ready and needs another year of college ball.

When Jayden Daniels goes to the combine and have his pro day, he will easily be the #2 QB in the draft. I get that some here have ptsd from the Rg3 era, but Daniels is an different animal. His work ethic, studying film 5:00 am every morning while going to class and always strives to be better is why I want him as our QB. Me personally he has the best deep ball in this draft. He can score at any given play. With the hiring of Kingsbury and Johnson, I believe they will go with Daniels at #2. It will be too much to give up and get Williams.

I seriously doubt we are going to draft Maye imo. If we don't trade up to #1 and stick at #2, we will get Daniel's. Once the combine starts and Daniel's pro day happens it will be nothing but a guarantee.

Does Quinn have the final say for OC? Is it Peters? Or the whole committee approach?

I think we are doing a total reset on the search. Quinn would be hired if he was the guy. It just a guess, but I wouldn't be surprised if we go to the college ranks and find a coach. A college coach with NFl experience or maybe getting a college coach and he can get a staff with NFL ties. Keep an eye out if we go this route for, Ryan Day Ohio State, Lincoln Riley USC, Dabo Swinney Clemson, Kirby Smart Georgia, James Franklin Penn State. The way college football is going and is headed , especially with the transfer portal, if any of those guys got offered the Washington job they would take it. I have no doubt in my mind about that.

I think we will know our next coach with in the next couple of hours. Peters is at the Senior Bowl so I'm assuming the negotiations is going down. I think we are waiting on Macdonald. If he chooses Seattle then we will go with Quinn.
