What does the RB pick do to/say about the kid from Buffalo?

Not much really, other than he’s a 4th back/PS type.

I gotta say, I think Robinson is a really good fit for us.  Reduces wear and tear on Gibson, can keep the offense on schedule, and pick up the tough yards.  Probably already better in pass pro than Gibson, better suited as a bruiser, and more decisive and instinctive.  McKissick can still handle the 3rd and longs (whether pass protecting or running routes), but I think Robinson fits better in the 3rd and 2-4… downs where we’re still a threat to run.  Gibson can be more of a change of pace guy, and I think we can even put Gibson and Robinson on the field together at times to create some uncertainty/mismatches.  It’s a more versatile RB room now, IMO.

I think we’re better suited, with Robinson and Dotson in the fold, to the Air Coryell style - moving the chains consistently and picking our moments for deep balls.  Time will tell how well Wentz fits the first part of that equation (we know he fits the latter).

They have been talking about it all offseason. They think this team is really good that was held back by QB play and covid late in the season. Lets no forget that we were 1 minor if questionable offside in the giants game from starting 1-8. They had that fluky 4 game win streak. I mean how many times are you going to win back to back games 17-15?

Think they are wildly overrating what they are. Think they are pretty good in what they want to do but IMO its just completely wrong way to build a team. Ultimately I think its a decent team but is worlds away from competing for anything worth note. A backing into the 7th seed playoff spot is meaningless

We will find out this year but I am thinking 7 seed playoff team 9 to 10 wins
